the game's story is more or less has a good plot, but the choices have no effect, and it's impossible to save some girl because they will always die. I know I'm not a dev payer but I'll say this was the worst game you've created so far, no choice has effect, in short I found this game shit and a shame because this dev's games are usually good.
Wrong. all the choices change some major plots. Not sure what game you played. And yes. Everyone is savable, as far as all love interest. If you are speaking of Ruby, then you are at the end of the update. Just wait til the next update. :)

Edit: Also not sure why you say no choices matter. 3 major choices change who dies. Who lives. Who you have sex with, what person you are with in certain scenes. Sorry man. Not trying to be a dick, but this game has more choices than most AVNs that are complete on this site.

don't worry dev I didn't think you were an idiot in your post and that's just what I found so far, I'll keep following your games because I think your stories and your game are very good, the only defect I have with your games are the loli characters this doesn't attract me but I don't skip the contents because I don't want to miss some dialogues, but as I said your games are very good, if I could not have a plot at the end of each update it would be perfect, not that the plot is just bad that and too much.

3ish weeks or so. Working on TG and this at the same time.
I finished the update not too long ago, and I really, really dig the story of this game (this website needs more horror-oriented games like this, not enough games which really optimize the horror genre as much as yours, despite having the horror tag on them).

Just one question I have, and this is a question out of curiosity and less of a criticism; why did Kenzie decide to use the same name she did when she and MC (James) knew each other as a child (well okay, actually knowing her is an exaggeration, but hearing about her through friends to be exact I guess)?
Considering MC's profession (of being a Sheriff), wouldn't it have been more of a safer approach for her to use a fake name when she became an adult (to plot MC's downfall) instead of using her same name?

I mean with the way the story went MC eventually found out (took him a bit since it happened so early in his childhood), but it does make me wonder whether MC would have had harder time finding out about her, had Kenzie been a little bit more careful and used a fake alias instead of her actual name.

Kenzie Moore isn't her real name. Her real name was Mackenzie and we don't know her last name. Kenzie moore is an alias given to her by *warning-blackheart hotel (devs other game) spoiler

Okay, I'm a bit more confused now.
Following scene takes place 20 years ago, way before Kenzie began her grudge against the MC (James), Donny, & Ray for what happened with Kim & Bobby.

Here, everyone (MC, Kim, Bobby etc etc) referred to her as "Kenzie" same as how MC refers to her in present day.
I mean sure, it's the short form of Mackenzie so it's not exactly the same (and there's also the 20 years ago memory to consider that MC may not remember all that well since it was so long ago).
But with her making her plans and doing suspicious activities behind MC's back I would have thought a completely different name would have been more fitting (for example, in present day, Kenzie uses the alias "Natasha").

But perhaps that's just me (shrugs).

Love the game a lot though.

well I don't think Kenzie really cared about that. Most of the work was done by her followers and the Father. Also Kenzie was not trying to fool the mc at all. Mc only knew her as Kenzie not Mackenzie. So it doesn't matter it was 20 y ago,he only knows her by the name Kenzie.

So yeah it seems like she just didn't want to conceal her identity,or it wouldn't matter if she was discovered,I mean she got dicovered pretty early in the story and that didn't really stop her.
or it's Seath's mistake,that's also a possibility lmao.

Ok...this is one of the best stories I've played in a while. I legit want to know wtf is going on. I've played one time up through the end of this update. Debating on whether to go back and play again making different choices (some things...didn't go as I'd hoped), or wait until another update or two to finish my first play through to the end.

Seath, you are doing great work. The Guardian and this are some of the best things out there in my experience. BHH doesn't seem like my cup of tea (or booze), but I'm going to go play it just to experience something else you've done. TBH, this game didn't either, but it's fucking awesome and I'm super glad I played it.

Awesome, awesome, awesome work!
