Yo, WTF, I changed the location of the folder to the Desktop and it worked, anyone knows why? The previous directory has tecnically a shorter name path, so, I'm confused.
Hmmm, that's weird, aparently it was because there was a dot (.) on the name of the previous game folder.

On another note, the developer has honestly stuck in the past, their games we okish about 10 years ago because the retro nostalgia was kind of the catch, but cmon, they are still using the same engine from 22 years ago, now it's is just lazy reusing the same shit over and over again.

If you wanna play online start "StduioS Online" app in the game folder, click RMB on your nickname and select seek/challenge, then some of players have to choose FIght option on the opponent's nickname.
And don't forget to set up your controls to be able to select character( Window mode - option - keyboard- etc).
To view list of combos select Story in the game mode and view full list of them, to perform strip K.O. you need a blue one combo, after you K.Oed at the 2nd round your foe, press Q while he/she stays groggy. To change poses use the same blue combo( down forward down forward + attack button).

This game is made with what is basically the RPG-maker of fighting games. I don't know if there is a new version of this.

Hitting L+M+H button (called "F" in-game, so "E" on the keyboard in default settings) just throws a basic light attack and not any special, despite my strip bar being full

It doesn't work. You must press the three attack buttons at once.

The sad thing is that compared to ultra strip fighters omeco, is still kinda inferior. Especially from an ecchi point of view. The clothings of the previous game barely contained the girls, now in comparison they feel conservative.

TBH it's a bit of a reach to call the dev "lazy" just because 90% of their games are the same 1 fighting game with different rosters. Unless they're getting an artist to draw/animate all the characters for them, it's not as simple as reusing the same assets over and over again.

Being disappointed that the gameplay is, more or less, a copypaste and has aged like milk in the process is perfectly fine, but let's not use that to act like NO effort is required to make these as a result.

Wait this got released on steam? HOW??? Damn Studio S got lucky with the steam admin that allowed this. Tamer stuff has been banned for less than what's in this game.

I give you that, poorly use of my words, probably due to not finding a more suitable adjetive. But yeah, you get my point, these game become repetitive and hard to diferenciate from eachother a long time ago.

Using a ps4 controller (with steam's controller handling) doesn't seem to quite work (unless I just completely don't understand the move instructions it gives you when you first select a character in story mod).

Moving around works, all the face buttons do what the screen says they should do, pausing with R2 works... but I cannot get the power move to work at all. Supposedly L + M + H is mapped to L1... which I believe should be initiating the strip combo if I use it when the strip bars are full... but pressing L1 just makes my character lean back for a second (I was using the internet DJ guy). I noticed that it is supposed to reset if you pause and then L + M + H, but L1 does nothing when I'm paused... however if I press square, X and circle at the same time (L, M, and H respectively), it does actually reset. So it seems that L1 as L + H + M is broken.

Realizing that, i figured, OK what I'll try to do then is when I would have usually tried to use L1 to initiate a strip combo per the instructions but it doesn't actually seem to do anything meaningful, I'll instead try pressing L and M and H simultaneously to do the strip combo in the same way i pressed them simultaneously to get the pause reset feature to work... but no dice. It would end up just doing one of the regular attacks as if I only pressed one of the buttons (presumably because it wasn't strictly hitting them simultaneously enough?)

I tried to use the keyboard instead, but apparently it had already latched on to my ps4 controller and the keyboard didn't do diddly squat.

In any case, controls are slightly broken to the point where I can't do any of the S actions, or I'm broken, or they don't support the ps4 controller very well. Either way, I'm blocked from doing any of the stuff this game has any reason for which to exist.
