I actually thought of it as a good game before but now I am furious when hit with the first free roam. That is one thing to kill every bit of interest in this game. Not even a hint on how to get out of this shitshow of a free roam...
Not to be unnecesarily mean but it is kind of known that the majority of people REALLY doesn't like that feature...

going sandbox I mean, interesting. But:
1. progression
sandbox requies baby-hand-guidance; needs to either show or tell player what to do next
2. navigation / interactions
walking between locations cannot be chaotic- obscure small icons randomly placed on screen. Map cannot shut down while walking; needs to be clear, so navigation is quick and simple
3. quality of life VN
rollback doesn't work, lack of which is reaaaaaaaaally annoying feature in VN genre

what the hell just happened to the game?
the game was quite slowburn but pleasant to play, with models very well done and VN gameplay
now it's sandbox and completely horrible, it took me about twenty minutes just to try to figure out how to move around the house, and the school is the same problem, and whenever i want to advance in time i have to get out in the car, at the end of a Sufferable hour of game play I practically didn't advance anything in the story
what the hell went through Dev's head?
it goes from a pleasant game to a horrible one, let's wait for him to go back and continue with the VN version of the game, for now I'm not going to delete the game, I'll wait for the next update, if he continues with this monstrosity I'm very sorry but I will have to give up the game

Not going to lie, I like the game a lot and dont mind the slowest of burns. But this new update.. Its rough having to start all over. And I hate sandbox free roam so its even worse that the game actively chose to go that route. Its not even the tolerable kind too its the tedious memorize where everything is and the clicks to get there and the clickable area to navigate to a new area is so small. Also seems the roll back feature is bugged or permanently disabled. Cant fix it in preferences.
Ill still play but I will wait for the game to be fully done. By then I would have lost all my memory and it wont be a bore to go through it all again, and maybe the sandbox is removed or made better and the rollback works. Still think the game has a lot of potential. I hope this new update doesnt kill the game entirely, the game was already on a lot of shaky ground with coomers, I mean gamers for petty reasons in my opinion but the update might really backfire here and make the dev just quit.

Anyone know if it is possible too follow multiple routes in the same playthrough a few things point too this, in the first game i only played the daughter route.

Ok well I've played now up until the first day of school, and well the sandbox part is a really small part of the game so far, to the point that I have to ask why was it even added? because there's no reward for exploring the house, and it really only adds confusion to the game. Also the arrow navigation is terrible, use the mini-map by the inventory button to jump to rooms instead.
Also looks like a new scene was added at the pool at the first house? after the dinner with Joan. I don't remember that part.
Other than that game plays out the same really, you get choices to start routes. If you're a fan of the game just power through the sandbox parts, they're really not that long and just use the mini-map instead.
Edit: ok... further in.. it's pretty terribad implementation of free roam... why implement a free roam with poor directions and no hint/quest system, so many areas to go to in your house but nothing to do in them, no collectibles, there's just no point to it at all. What a waste....

Even if in the whole pirate site, there are 5000 legal downloads and you get 1 patreon, you should still than the pirate site for the free advertising.
But if your game is crap, and you can't take criticism... Can't expect much. I wont download the gameagain if it changes and persist in the blueball dreamfest.

I really liked the game before but making it open world... I have no idea what the hell im supposed to do most of the time. Incredibly confusing and kills all the fun. Sorry but im out.
