Pixieblink, intriguing start of an engrossing story-rich game... probably your best plot so far.
There are still some sketchy vibes and shady similarities to "The Joob-Joob" under the surface (which I did not like very much),
but this one seems to have much more to offer in the future: some eerie adventure, gloomy thrill and corruptive elements, maybe a bit of mystery and fantasy as well. Sounds and Music adding to the atmosphere, renders well done...
Nothing huge to complain about up to now (well, maybe the more or less somewhat bland cast, but I'm sure you'll let them grow character in the future updates
). Looking forward to the following chapters crossing my fingers for you to keep it going that well!

The characters will all have different personalities, it's difficult to ease everything into the the game without making it looked slapped together.

I actually didn't expect Chapter 3 until early April (given we got Chapter 2 in first couple of days of March), so I have to say this is a very, very pleasant surprise.

So this is a one time thing (due to Patreon poll)?
If that is the case, since Chapter 3 is coming out earlier, will that mean all future chapters i.e. Chapters 4 onwards, for this game be coming out mid-month, instead of early month (still monthly but date is moved around)?

Uh, nope. I've decided (Or rather my Patrons have decided to) focus on A Father's Sins.
New releases will be every 3 weeks or so, depending on how long it takes to create each update.
I was shocked by the Poll results. Turns out I was spending a couple of weeks each month working on everyone's LEAST favorite game? Go figure. Should have actually ASKED my patrons a long time ago instead of assuming I knew what everyone liked.
So for the foreseeable future I will be focusing on SINS.
The PROF II will see another release or two - just to bring the chapter to a gracious conclusion - in my spare time.

well he keeps things simple.
if pix's games were on same level as philly's then couple updates per year.
So what?
Philly is updating every few months, Pixie is updating once a month.
Sure Philly's render quality is better. Could it be that Pixie doesn't want to deliver this kind of quality?
Because it takes a LOT of time to set up and a very good rig to create.
But no, just compare a Mercedes to a Ferrari.

You know, that with most of your comments, especially one like this, you disqualify yourself?they want longer play than 5 mins.
I doubt you have played Sins, there is no 5 minutes, not in Chapter 1, 2 or 3.
Your "another 5 minutes update" comments are bothering me for some time now. It clearly shows that you haven't played Sins - or that your tab key is still broken.

2. i have liked them all
3. prof and joob are/were 5-10 mins play depending if skipped movies
4. not comparing sins/prof/joob to philly's games, pix's games are in different category than philly's, just saying that if plots and graphics were on same level then no monthly updates

Anyone who thinks that the original comment meant that it is a 5 minute update cannot read and understand contextual juxtaposition. The post immediately above was the result of a poll which showed that the least favorite game was Prof II; Sins was the most favored and Pixel's comments. cxx commented on that saying that the dev's Patrons wanted more than a 5 minute play time. To infer that the 5 minute comment referred to Sins is incorrect simply because of the dev's comments (in the post with the poll and the two times he said it was a 30 min. update) and that Sins is not 'suffering' for attention; Prof II is. cxx's comment is clearly addressed as to why he feels that Patrons are not enthused about Prof II.
I don't know who 'philly' is or his games so I cannot say anything about that. What I can say is that the plot of Sins is gripping enough that for a new game, 2/3 chapters in with no sex (maybe Maddy's corpse turned a few necros on), on an adult site, there is definitely a huge interest. Kudos to Pixel for this.
