If you mean compared to RePureAria 1, this is the sequel - it's a whole new game, though similar mechanics and setting.

Yes, nearly all the pixel sex scenes are hetero. (The lesbian ones are marked by a lily symbol). You get to do a lot more as the boy this time, including actually fight somewhat after getting certain items.

You can replay any of the "story" sex scenes from the Menu by going Menu -> Quest and then scrolling down to Memories. For the pixel sex scenes, you can find the item that unlocks "My Room" and summon girls there, or use a small base and unlock either the bathroom or bedroom. For boss sex scenes, you mostly need to rechallenge the boss (there's a gnome in My Room who lets you fight some of them again).

If you just want to view the sprite sheets, you'll need to download a programme called DXExtract and use it on the various game files, though.
how do you create/get to a base and where is my room?

Well, I certainly hope this sequel isn't as labyrinthine as the first one. I'm not shy to admit I got hopelessly lost in the last game, in the maze-like section where you traveled through what looked like someone's digestive system. Every portal seemed to lead you back farther into the maze. It was an instant buzzkill for me.

Welcome to the old school NES games before they started adding in-game maps and we have to track our progress with pen and graphing paper.

I don't understand why gamepad rebinding is possible but not for keyboard, it simply is a hassle to be forced into using specific keys, especially if your layout is different from the one used for the game which can be very inconveniencing depending on how drastic the displacement is (for example Y and Z), which is especially bad when "one-handed play" is not supported. Guess I should create a custom (language) layout just to properly play games like this (I've had enough from the first part already).

What is it suppose to be, stuff like "Watashi wa/Atashi Wa/Boku Wa"?
I would assume so, since in jp the pronouns can mean different things, for example using Boku is a more formal way for a boy to speak while Ore is a more informal way, similar case for Watashi and Atashi just that those are for woman. I guess in this case you can choose to be a more shy boy and use Boku.
And well there is no translation to any of that since everything means "I" in english.

All of those words mean "I". As in first person personal pronoun.
Watashi is generic, unisex pronoun, can be used by anyone in any situation. Watakushi is more formal version of it.
Ore is masculine, less formal pronoun. Often used by tomboys, though.
Atashi is the girl pronoun. Isn't used by males, like, at all.
Boku is boyish pronoun. Doesn't get used by adults or girls much, unless they want to emphasise their youth or modesty.
Washi and Ware are formal-ish pronouns used by old men. Unlike those above, no real expectation to, they just like the sound of it, or can't be bothered to say full watakushi or something.
There's also Sessha, but it's used mostly by samurai and ninja in historical dramas. There's more but none of those worth a note.

For the hetero scenes, is it mostly just the protagonist being raped? Or are there a decent amount of consensual/non-femdom scenes? The game looks interesting, but I'm really not into femdom.

To all of you trying to figure this out, I've just finally figured it out.

The game comes with a preloaded save in one of the slots, so first you have to load that save. You need to access a 'base' which can take you to 'My Room'. To do this, you need to press 'Q' and open your map, and from there, look for a room that has a ticket like symbol that is brown on the inside and has a gold border. (This is a 'base' ticket, not sure how these work, but the preloaded save has used some of them already.) Once you get into a part of the map that has one of these tickets, look around for a door until you enter one of these bases. From a base, you can go to My Room, and from there, you can do whatever you want. Make sure to make a save when you get there, there should be a save crystal near the top.
