It's very relevant. You probably know that Sims 4 with all the expansions is about 1k USD. Both mods you mentioned require original, un-cracked game. That means people playing those mods have material means to contribute to Parteon if they want to. It's not like they live in eastern Europe where the AAA game price (~ 50 USD) means 25% from average monthly income.

It's also relevant because we are talking about mods for a game produced by a multi-million dollars company. As long the mods are beneficial for that company, Parteon will be happy to provide "support" (as in letting them earn money without interfering) for mod creators.

On the other side we have an obscure dev who's building a game from scratch. No backup, no connections. Just the coding knowledge and passion. No one will defend him if he gets bashed or abused by Parteon (especially if he's from eastern Europe). Will just have to endure and hope for the best.

So yeah, it matters a lot imo what kind of game / mod / art / whatever is put on Parteon.

From my short search around, Patreon seems to be the biggest, most popular and steadiest. Less successful, unknown or just as restrictive would be SubscribeStar, BuyMeACoffee, and pixiv.net/fanbox.
There's also Discord where you can create a private community for discussions and sharing content or having your own private site/blog set up.

For adult content creators, all avenues are at risk of shutting down at some point. It depends on their own perseverance and cunning to bypass the restrictions and keep their work alive in any way they see fit.

subscribestaradult seems to be the alternate of choice for adult content creators leaving patreon, the only downside being subscribestar dosent use third party payment processors like paypal, which in the end is a good thing as patreon is forced to crackdown on adult content becasue of pressure from paypal which does not allow for adult content

About it v0.93.5_15.04

- Continued to work on improving the translation of the game. A huge thanks to our friend Salvelinus.
- Various fixes and improvements to the gameplay.
- Improved some of the mechanics on the set. In the dressing room, on the movie set, makeup artists, as well, now watch the nails MC.
- The housekeeper, who can be hired by the MC, in addition to ironing things, has now started doing laundry when laundry detergent is available. There was an error in the game mechanics of the housekeeper, which has already been corrected.
- Did a lot of work with the saved MC clothing options. Now, before they are used, their condition and MC size are monitored.
- Expanded the ability for the MC to repair clothes and fit them to her size if she has the appropriate skills.
- MC now warned her partners of an unfavorable period for lovemaking. In this case there is minimal damage to the friendship and NPCs can think of other ways to have fun.
- Made new in-game interaction mechanics for couples. Now MC+ male NPCs and female NPCs + male NPCs can have fun at the same time. So far, this hasn't been implemented in the game itself. But we've prepared two new tests for you to evaluate the work done and have a lot of fun.

A huge thank you to all the patrons who made this Public Version release happen!!!
We've tried to incorporate most of the content we've been working on lately into this public version. Some of the content and new game mechanics, for now, are only available to patrons.
To unpack the archive, use WinRAR program version 5.0 or higher.
We need support to implement all the goals, plans, and your wishes in the project.

The answer to both questions is maybe.
But not anytime soon in more than a token "see I did something!" proof of concept.

There are other matters that need to be added/changed first.
For instance, before a somewhat believable pregnancy system is implemented, sex and relationships need to be fleshed out.
