Ok, that's weird. You're the first person that I've heard with this issue.

It's weird you didn't have this problem in the previous version, but there aren't really any fundamental changes in the engine.
The only things was replacing the save menu script with the same script which includes a auto save feature.

Maybe that is the problem. Auto save does not work in my game ( do you need to turn it on somewhere? ). I use a manual save before any event just in case. Love the game, been following/playing it for a while now. Thanks

If you used old saves you'll need to turn it on first with the setting items.
It's not 100% reliable at current point tho, because it might save in the middle of an event when there is a map change.
So I always recommend to manual save now and then.

Ok, thanks. The crash does not make the game unplayable just annoying. If I'm the only one with this problem then will just wait until next update and go from there. Again thank you for the response.

Interracial tag refers to sex between the main character and another person of different race.
Is there even interracial sex in Lily of the Valley? I can't remember.

Just copy all your savefiles from the main directory of the old version to the new version.
These savefiles should be in the main directory called savexx etc.

Well relationship is perhaps a too big word. She will have the option to have some sexual interactions with a certain black man.
Hence the reason why the tag is there.

There might be a few other scenes involving dark skinned men. As for if that involves taboo. That totally depends on what definition of taboo is.

There are cheat items inside the red chest in May's room in which you can lower or increase her shame.
Be careful with lowering it massive amount it wont help it will just get you stuck

I haven't made any other so far tho. You can always use save edit with the change you might get locked out of certain events.

Jobs lowers her shame. And some other jobs/event (lifeguard, suntanning) raise her confidence.
Most important is shame. Then there are the one time events. Which can also lower shame, raise confidence and or exhibition.

Sometime you'll need specific value to progress.

There an very rudimentary event guide inside the event guide directory ,which you can consult on how to trigger most events.
It doesn't contain the early parts tho.

I think some basic guide about which job changes which stats would be usefull, now I need to find the time and motivation to make one ;-)

My save files are like getting bricked yet, I didn't mess with any settings. Honestly, if we could get complete or near complete save file. I'm sure me and the community would love that. Just asking for help here.

Check if clock.ogg file is present and has the correct name inside the audio => BGS folder.

If had some people who had this issue before when the filename got screwed up after the extracted the game.
usually it was malformed to _clock or something and then the game can't find the file.

If that's the case simply renaming it to clock.ogg (or without the .ogg depening if you have file extentions enabled in windows explorer)

Did you check out the save files inside the save directory yet? Those are included with the game.

Hello again,
I know I ask this before....my problem is that the big standing picture can't be disabled.
After the last update it pops up again each time May changes the location.

Does this happen with a particular outfit? I though I fixed that already.

Yes, you fixed it...but it is back.
Example: May wears (doesn't matter what)...disabled the picture. She walks outside her room and after crossing the archway on the floor the picture is back. The same goes for every time May has a conversation or changes hes clothes.

time for a small review. I like this game...why else would I play it 3 time from the start?
If you (Crazybat) ever think about an enchanced version...please consider a skip button. Seeing the same action with the same dialogue a few dozen times let me wish for an turbo on my gamepad.
And last...there are so few NPC in this game...wouldn't it be fun the have them at last 2 - 3 different sentences...for example it is frustrating if May walks into her brothers room during the day....he sits on his computer and ....nothing. No reaction at all from a male whos sister just yesterday lend him her hand.
There are many story plots that are not well used: her sister, mother (whole family), her friends, the principal. What about molesting during the bus ride? Or in the park?

I did some testing, but I'm unable to reproduce your problem. I used different saves and tried on different outfits, but once I disable it under settings the overlay picture won't reappear under any circumstance so far..

You did disable with the use of the settings item inside her inventory right? Not just pressed D to remove it? Because the later method is only intended as a toggle to quickly remove it if it blocked the view and won't remove it permanently.

What kind of skip button do you mean? There is already a skip or rather fast forward button for text speed.
And certain events/job can be skipped when event skipping is enabled, but it's not implemented fully yet for all events.

As for npc's. Yeah it's on my way too long due list. Feel free to give suggestions, but as always even "simple" things like this add up. As you might have noticed I did add a few interaction with npc's in the last version.

As for the rest, the game isn't completed yet. It's still WIP. That said there might be certain events I might just need to abandon/drop simply to keep my sanity and have a chance of actually trying to make some kind of finish.
I don't think I'll be able to keep working on this for another 5 years..

Any idea how to start the sleepover event with Gina? I keep getting it failing to start, looked at the readme file as advised but that hasn't helped, also tried restarting the game and setting it to instant (as it was on normal) text speed and that didn't help.

It's an interesting game, but the map feels very empty as it's so big and you do so little on each section, and by the gods the spelling is bad.
