from what i gathered on the past post, someone on patreon got butthurt either because A.) blackmail tag, B.) LydiaNTR or C.) SaintLydia isnt a saint at all.

Played the new Patreon mandated update or whatever it was. Not a fan. The story is spinning its wheels and the new content isn't very good at all. It also still seemed shorter than the other version, even with the added material.

Patreon can't be seen to support illegal projects or they'll have trouble with the payment processors (PayPal, Mastercard, etc.), who want to be able to work internationally without running afoul of local legislation.

We don't know why Patreon cracked down on the game just now. It's entirely possible someone tipped off their moderation team, but the game may also just be a victim of its own success: The more successful and high profile a project becomes, the more scrutiny it risks from the mods.

That's a speculation some have and it is entirely possible, however nobody knows and it could be any other number of reasons Patreon found out about it.

Any sexual act that is initiated where at least one party cannot legally consent (ie mentally impaired, under duress/forced, ...) is seen as rape. Even consensual non consent falls under this.
Blackmail falls squarely under the duress/forced category and they don't care if it's only a fantasy...

On the other hand it helps to remember that Patreon does this out of fear of being banned by CC processors like visa or mastercard who've been on a "all porn is exploitation/trafficking/other bad thing" spree under influence of, mostly, religious lobbyists. It's all about the money...

It is a question of depiction I'd say, many famous works of art (movies, books) feature incest, shota, loli, rape, blackmail, also non sexual despicable stuff like mass murder, enslavement, and so forth, and nobody objects. If this stuff is "glorified", i. .e portrayed in a positive light, it is where it becomes critical, not only (from Patreon's side) from a morally POV but also from a legal perspective, since they don't necessarily want their access blocked in some countries and thus their revenue diminished. Or lose commercial partners. And probably to be on the safe side they decided to take out that content altogether.

When it comes to under 18/loli/pedo content, I can 100% see the point. There is not a way the optics on that looks good and a good chance that it (digital character stories containing it) might be illegal somewhere in the world.

Rape and incest are common story elements, but they should not be glorified in my country (Germany), so they shall not be enjoyed as such by the viewer. Rape porn is handled in the German criminal code article 184a and will get you up to three years in prison (and yes, if you look it up, that is the same article as for bestiality). Incest in porn isn't forbidden here (and in real life only between a man and a woman) but some legislations seem to even have problems with step-incest according to some disclaimers I saw on porn I watched. There is a reason you don't find them on mainstream porn sites in the western world and if you look for rape porn will mostly find Russian sites. However, unlike underage porn, it is forbidden to create, trade, or show them, but not illegal to watch them (which watching child pornography is).

No offense taken. As Cartageno points out above, legislation in these areas varies massively between jurisdictions (even just among states in the US).

Patreon is dependant on PayPal and Mastercard to process its payments, and Mastercard wants to continue to work everywhere from China to the UAE to Belarus to Connecticut. The payment companies enforce a high bar for acceptable content for fear of getting dinged for financing illegalities, and Patreon falls in line.

If you want to argue that Patreon also does content moderation out of concerns for the public perception of the platform, then sure, probably. But it's not just arbitrary censorship.

2.4.6 is further in the story, it's the "normal" version.
2.2.24 is the extended version it is not as far, but has extra scenes, music, sounds, a gallery etc.
They did it that way every week.

Wasted effort in my book (I mute the game, because I hate the "sim-like" voices and I dont care for the music in games most of the time). I play these games for the stories and the lewd stuff. I dont care about galleries.

So I guess I have to wait for the next "real" update.

In a system like patreon I can understand why they do that for higher tiers - but imho it would be better to finish the story and maybe release an extended version after they have finished a whole week.

OK, just to clarify: When I say "Incest porn" I mean:
A man and a woman pretending to be brother and sister(dad/daughter,mother/son) having sex in a porn video. NOT real siblings having sex.

Just as when I say "Rape porn", I mean Two consenting adults where on pretend to rape the other in a porn video. Not a real rape captured on video.
