Desktop Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, so not the newest but don't think it's a potato. Was using the video enhancement movies and it seemed to imply that the performance patch would be needed for them, but ya, I guess if it works fine now, then not needed.

The patch updates the engine files which improves the stability and performance of nwjs. This however depends on your gpu's drivers and if the game use your better instead your on-board gpu (APU).

It was more because you immediately jumped the gun and asked whether it was "delayed" or not when the update hadn't even been released. That's like asking for your professor to give your exam grades when you haven't even done the exam to begin with.
