I just played the update and I think I know who you are referring to as someone else who likes her and was asked for my permission to go after her... of course I said no, but I am curious now who Louise will accept in the relationship and who she will not. For now, I plan on just trying to get as many points with all the girls possible and see where it leads me.Cindy is complicated. You don't actually reject her, she rejects you (thought the reason for this seems... dubious) Honestly anymore and I'd be spoiling the story.
Essentially you can still build points with Cindy (in fact, I'd suggest it) as to ending up with her as a full-blown LI? hmm....
Sorry I know its vague but, given were at a late stage in the story now, I really need to avoid major plot spoilers (as much as I want to tell you all). I will just say, in the next update some of those 'open' paths will be closing for good, as you will need to home in on just who you want to end up with.

While Kimiko is my number one, i do like Cindy, she's my second place.

Unfortunately Steam took exception to one of the characters (I'm thinking Kimiko) and refused to put Dreams of Reality onto Steam.
I've mentioned this in the past, but There is nothing I can do. Once steam blacklist your game they won't undo the decision (unless you're a AAA with a lot of money of course).
It seems acting innocent is too 'grey area' for Steam. The refusal to list the game on steam is the reason why I added achievements. Just cos I could

I can't put a finger on it, but something on her has always rubbed me the wrong way. To many red flaggs for my taste, and yes, it is very much possible that i just imagine all of this. But my gut feeling tells me in regards of her "doubble back, better yesterday than tomorrow"
Don't get me wrong, I like your game and I have no intend to start shit talking about your game or anything like this. I just wanted to point out why I personally walk always backwards like a crab when it comes to her.
That's fair. Not every character is going to be to everyone's tastes. I'll be honest, I like writing Kimiko, perhaps it's an element of self-projection of my own fantasies of an "Innocent broken girl, who needs protecting" but I seem to be able to easily write her scenes when compared to other characters. There're two distinct routes with Kimiko, it's plainly obvious which are which and it's probably obvious how these will play out, though I do like the Arc I have in store for her if you're on the more... protective route.
I don't have a new image of Kimiko to share, but I recently did this mock-up of a magazine of Cindy. Cindy needs more love imo!

people only do that with games they love
it's like people who love Game of Thrones they talked about how much they hate Prince Joffrey and Little finger
and I know you don't hate Kimiko I was just using that as an example

Louise will always be my MC's one and only but Kimiko is a great character. I love the father-daughter type relationship she has with the MC and how they both need each other for different reasons. I'm hoping the protective route ends with Kimiko being adopted by/living with the MC and Louise.
