did a quick check on it... it's confusing, switching from one character to the next one. So far it looks more like "hey let's clobber some stuff together to put in some random sex scenes"

lol, content filter ... and what do I find there... irish accent on/off rofl :D
That is a recent addition (that seems to have a fit sometimes). Basically, a Steam user had trouble reading Bria with an Irish Accent. So, I programmed something that will translate to what she is saying that easier for people to read. :)

Wait, this might might be falsely detected by Avast but how come it went undetected by players for such a long period of time:WaitWhat:?

Anyway, interesting fantasy lore (and furries?), renders looks nice. I have not played it myself, just adding it to bookmark.

Thank you for the share. Good luck on Steam release. All the best, Dana. Cheers.
Thank you. :) I was originally working on Fire of Life in a...convoluted game and decided the story would go faster if I did a graphic novel. Then someone said I should try again, so I went "eh". For the most part, I am keeping it simple to not introduce more bugs than content (trying anyways). Right now, I am working on Day 2 (when this cold is not kicking my ass).

That sounds like it should be 5 different games. Strongly against multiple protagonists as it usually becomes an unfocused mess.
There is no point of developing a preconcieved notion (or bias), theory and/or suggestion against/about something by guesswork, past experience (with other games) and insufficient information or knowledge about it.

If you have any interest at all, just play the game first and provide objective feedbacks and opinions about the game (particularly the multiple protagonist with multiple storylines aspect of it), which the developer will appreciate and try their best to improve upon. Cheers.

Trying to keep it from being an unfocused mess (there is a central story that it revolves around). However, I do see the point you are making. :)

It does have dialogue choices, and I am working on making some interesting ones.
"evil smik" awesome, The Story sounds interesting and the designs look great. I love the supernatural genre with vampire, demons, succubus ect. So many possibilities. Fantasy Genre and corruption too. They all blend well together. Look forward to trying this game/story out.

Thank you. Trying to blend them together in a way that make sense. Sometimes I will succeed, sometimes I might not hit the mark as well, but I will try. :)

Is there a story here?

max-smart-confused.gif

The game starts by saying I already had played it! Nope, I sure haven't.

The scenes start happening. There's nothing but introduction of random characters and questions if I want to continue the story? What.Fucking.Story? Sex scenes happen. Fine. Then they didn't happen.

What? Where? When? Who? I feel like I entered the cinema half an hour late, things are going on that I don't know what they mean or if they matter. Then there's an option to skip, what? Why?

I've given up, random sexy images may be fun, sure... Just pretending there's a story doesn't make one appear, you have to actually TELL the story.

A heads up, if you ask players to make a decision about something, first give them something to base the decision on. How does anyone that started to play knows if that girl should lose control or not? And why? And what are the consequences? And what are the benefits? By the way, who the fuck is the girl? Why should we even care? Maybe she even deserves to be caught... We don't know shit about it.

And so on... and on... we know nothing about no one, yet, we are asked to make decisions, as if we even care who they are.

Then all the Continue decisions, how the fuck should we know if it's ok to continue? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, we have NO CLUE.

I'm not even going into the Irish thing, while this is possible to change, why is it even a thing? Moving on...

Maybe give us an introduction IN the game, one for each of the new protagonists, we need to know SOMETHING about them before you ask us anything. Just the name isn't enough.

I don't even felt curious enough to finish the content, I'm all for abstract, random, subjective, esoteric... this isn't it. Not enough randomness, not enough organization. It's only a mess with a ton of inane questions that we have no idea of what and why to answer.

Peace :(

Introducing 30 characters in 30 minutes was just way too scattershot for me. Ten minutes in I had no clue which characters were "MC" characters. Felt like being introduced to a complex TV show by starting with the season finale. Of season three.

Seems like I saw the same default name offered twice (Medea?) and had no clue if they were different or not. Almost as bad with the number of factions, races, and assumed lore.

I just check your and you have plenty of Graphic Novels titles published over the years. It appears that the previous lore surrounds Fiery Soul (there is also Primal Heart series) and probably this game either centers around the characters from that lore or serves as an expansion for it (purely speculation).

I believe you have a really good (if not great) story planned but the challenge is of course how to deliver it competently. I hope you are not working alone on this because it just might be too much to handle for one person. However, you had collaborated with others, mainly artists for your previous works so it most likely will work out just fine (even if it will a rough ride).

As for Fire of Life (your current title), there are a lot of diverse characters (mainly women:love::BootyTime:) which is awesome, and they all look very nice and hawt. I hope the players will get to know these characters in timely fashion, not too rush and not too far off either. Cheers.

Yeah have to agree with some others. I don't even know what is going on. It jumps around so much and the choices make no sense to me. I don't know who any of these characters are and I have to make choices that I have no idea about. Like, I have no context of what happens when she loses control or not or anything. I don't know these characters!

And like was mentioned, it just jumps around so abruptly with no coherent story at all. It's just scattered.

It feels like the dev had ideas for different stories they wanted to write, but instead of doing that, they just mashed it all together and prayed for the best. And the best never came. All these different perspectives and jumping in and out of different times during their lives, is just a confusing mess. Especially when it feels like you jumped in at like half way through the "story" with no idea what is even going on.

Sorry but this is a hard pass. It's just so confusing. There's no focus, it is just all jumbled with no coherent story. Still, good luck with whatever it is you're doing here, and thanks.

Well I like the look of the renders so I bought the steam version and I'll keep an eye on the updates. Not gonna lie it was the furry that convinced me. Surprising lack of those in games like these.
