Thank you for letting me know about the bug. I have now fixed it.Agh. I thought I fixed that. Only when she is Unnamed?

Ok, I can respect that. *notes: Expand Day 1 a little more with a little more clarity*. That is partially why I have in Early Access. What I think is a good idea may not be executed right.Yeah have to agree with some others. I don't even know what is going on. It jumps around so much and the choices make no sense to me. I don't know who any of these characters are and I have to make choices that I have no idea about. Like, I have no context of what happens when she loses control or not or anything. I don't know these characters!
And like was mentioned, it just jumps around so abruptly with no coherent story at all. It's just scattered.
It feels like the dev had ideas for different stories they wanted to write, but instead of doing that, they just mashed it all together and prayed for the best. And the best never came. All these different perspectives and jumping in and out of different times during their lives, is just a confusing mess. Especially when it feels like you jumped in at like half way through the "story" with no idea what is even going on.
Sorry but this is a hard pass. It's just so confusing. There's no focus, it is just all jumbled with no coherent story. Still, good luck with whatever it is you're doing here, and thanks.
Thank you.Well I like the look of the renders so I bought the steam version and I'll keep an eye on the updates. Not gonna lie it was the furry that convinced me. Surprising lack of those in games like these.
Yes, that is the impression I am getting, which I welcome the feedback. I am still working on Day 2, but I can go back to expand a little on Day 1 and Night 1 to let it make a LITTLE more sense. And yes, the game is based on works I had previously done with trying to get through that storyline. My plan was for Fiery Soul, Primal Heart (Shifters), and a planned vampire story was to have multiple sides of the story with a central villian (basically cthulu). However, my hands gave out trying to handle Poser going into Cinema4d that I took a break for a few years. Now hair looks a little better than it did years ago (that I no longer have to try modify it TOO much).I just check yourYou must be registered to see the linksand you have plenty of Graphic Novels titles published over the years. It appears that the previous lore surrounds Fiery Soul (there is also Primal Heart series) and probably this game either centers around the characters from that lore or serves as an expansion for it (purely speculation).
I believe you have a really good (if not great) story planned but the challenge is of course how to deliver it competently. I hope you are not working alone on this because it just might be too much to handle for one person. However, you had collaborated with others, mainly artists for your previous works so it most likely will work out just fine (even if it will a rough ride).
As for Fire of Life (your current title), there are a lot of diverse characters (mainly women) which is awesome, and they all look very nice and hawt. I hope the players will get to know these characters in timely fashion, not too rush and not too far off either. Cheers.
You should write about your first story and make it series of Vn with only one mc and go from there might be easier for you as a dev to only focus on one story instead of 5 just my thoughts but good luck to you.Yes, that is the impression I am getting, which I welcome the feedback. I like your idea about chapters and got an idea how to go about it with going "Chapter 1", "chapter 2"..etc.Hi. Nice renders. The scenes and the characters looks awesome. But, as the others, the story is just too complex. We got multiple characters without any background. Still, i can see that you got a great story in your head but you need to put some order first.
My advice for a really complex story would be:
1- Do this in chapters. Chapter 1 is the "vampire", chapter 2 is Eric, Chapter 3 is that Wendigo, etc. Each one of them start as standalone but with time some characters start to appear in others chapters.
2- Rewrite Day 1 so we can know who´s the MC. Then include him in all the stories. So far, i think the Vampire or Eric could be our MC.
3- Leave it as it is but first do some Prologue with some background. And then order the Day 1 scenes so it makes sense. Follow 1 character (for example the Fire Lady) and show us all of her scenes. Then the Vampire, etc..
So we, as players, can make some sense of what is going on xD Because so far i am completely lost jaja. I started thinking the vampire was the MC but then there was this Fire Lady, then this Eric, then this girl that transform in a wolf, then some girl hanging in some vampire lair...Is really confusing. It was like a Tarantino movie but on cocaine jaja.
Still, this game looks like a rough diamond.
I thinking of combining both of what you said and Lordsimmons said. Rather than making 5 different renpy games (because the storylines do cross), I can try to put the storylines in seperately. For example, College Kings has a launcher that allows you to either launch College Kings or College Kings 2. Same idea, but all within renpy. I might come up with another idea to solve this problem, that kind of where I am at the moment (if this cold can stop kicking my behind already. Trying code and render while coughing is not my ideal day)You should write about your first story and make it series of Vn with only one mc and go from there might be easier for you as a dev to only focus on one story instead of 5 just my thoughts but good luck to you.
for the love of God yes to these suggestions please, I was trying to figure out who was the MC almost the entire time, I settled on the swimmer w/ the asshole dad. Not really a fan of seeing sex scenes from non-main character, so would have been nice to know who to focus on and what to avoid. My advice for a really complex story would be:

Another game that might give you an idea is called Zeno's Anthology here. The game has 3 different storylines (so far) that are connected (but not revealed yet) and the players are not told (don't even know) the chronological order or timeline of the stories. I am not suggesting to use the same story idea but at least you can pick up something regarding the game mechanics or storytelling 'tools'.I thinking of combining both of what you said and Lordsimmons said. Rename the MC you mean ? I don't think that is possible (at least for now I think) because the game has more than one MC (although I could be wrong because I have not played it myself).how do you rename?, I see the yes or no option for it in settings, but the names stay default.
Ok, another thing I need to redo: Naming.how do you rename?, I see the yes or no option for it in settings, but the names stay default.
It is possible, but like other things, I need to simplify it. When a new character comes in and rename is true, it should go "I'm ..." or something along those lines...back to the drawing boards with that implementation.Rename the MC you mean ? Not going to lie, seeing this render and how discombobulated the story is makes me not want to play this game.
Umm.
