I wouldn't be so quick as to discard Ophelia as a LI considering Ziviars did state the following:

Story wise, incorporating incest would make sense within the lore that is currently presented within the novel's world. In addition, the source materials by which it is based on does have its fair share of incest related content as well.

The story so far with Ophelia and her list reminded me of a scene from the series Overlord. Where a character wanting to be defeated, sharing some similarities (I presume similar) as Ophelia's list wanting someone strong enough to conquer her.

Huh, that’s interesting. I need to check it out. Is there more of her in the show, or is that the only scene?

It's the only scene unfortunately in the anime series (I'd still recommend watching). The novel might have more info on her,

That was what I remembered, but it really seemed to me like he was not sure as it was very likely he was going to discard it. Hope I a wrong, though.

Better to use a spoiler for massive load of text like that. (y)
The mod is for the main game, not VSS.
VSS doesn't need a mod.

I'm quite confused right now. What should I download to get the whole game? VSS? Main Game? Both? Does VSS continue the Main Game as a standalone?

Well, I'll be..I clicked on the top selection thinking that that was the main game but saw the main below the VSS instead hidden by a spoiler tab...sneaky lol.
Thank you for pointing that out.

Vanessa Short Story (VSS) is a prequel to the main game.
They are independent of each other so, if you want to play both, you'll need to download each one.
You do not need to play VSS, you can go straight to the main game if you wish, but it is worth playing as it adds character depth and back-story which, I think, improves your main game play through.

Just finished the short story, and I must admit I enjoyed it quite a bit.
It also made me really miss Vanessa, who we haven't seen in the main game for quite a while now.

Anyway, looking forward to Chapter 5!

The VSS and the other Short Story are both prequels.
The story of the main game takes place after them.
