I sure don't agree, so don't speak for me. The lack of communication about intentions could very easily be due to circumstances beyond the dev's control (illness, legal troubles,
marriage

), meaning that the
intent to return is not at all ruled out by radio silence. Only the dev posting or telling his inner-circle that they are quitting is actual proof that they are not planning to continue their game at some point.
I, for one, appreciate the restraint and respect shown by
not posting the last unreleased content, and the only person who can decide when the time might be right is the person who is in posession of that content and has/had direct interaction with the dev. Why stoop to putting pressure on them to do something they might regret??
I.e., there are potential consequences for him, but none for you, so it's easy to armchair quarterback (American football reference, sorry). And all the content is is an
update, not the completion of the game. So it feels rude to me to act like we should have any say whatsoever in what he decides to do and/or when.
