I sure don't agree, so don't speak for me. The lack of communication about intentions could very easily be due to circumstances beyond the dev's control (illness, legal troubles,6 months is a little early imo (I thought it took 12 months of no communication to earn the toe tag), but when a dev ghosts even his help with no communication/heads up even in private I say it's fair game/public domain and I'd bet most would agree.
I, for one, appreciate the restraint and respect shown by not posting the last unreleased content, and the only person who can decide when the time might be right is the person who is in posession of that content and has/had direct interaction with the dev. Why stoop to putting pressure on them to do something they might regret?? I.e., there are potential consequences for him, but none for you, so it's easy to armchair quarterback (American football reference, sorry). And all the content is is an update, not the completion of the game. So it feels rude to me to act like we should have any say whatsoever in what he decides to do and/or when.
