No one refused. No connection.so nothing on why they abandoned ?
Dev's been completely silent since April, even on his SS pageso nothing on why they abandoned ?
The dev has just vanished, no indication why. I hope they're okay.so nothing on why they abandoned ?
Hey pal... the game has earned the dreaded ABANDONED tag, mind sharing when you're planning on releasing whatever you're holding on, or you're giving the dev a grace period???It's a shame, I was helping them out with some translation issues and they just stopped responding. I seriously hope they're okay.
For the reason above, I have a copy of the half-release, and once I'm sure they're definitely not coming back, I will make it available to the masses, one way or another.
I'll probably give it another month, give or take. The dev has vanished like this once before for reasons that they asked not be talked about, so I still have a little hope.Hey pal... the game has earned the dreaded ABANDONED tag, mind sharing when you're planning on releasing whatever you're holding on, or you're giving the dev a grace period???
please let us know when he's back when you hear from himI'll probably give it another month, give or take. The dev has vanished like this once before for reasons that they asked not be talked about, so I still have a little hope.
I guess there's no point to keeping it secret now. In addition to smoothing out the English version since WDW wasn't a native English speaker, they accepted my offer to do a first draft rewriting the story to make the daughters full blooded, as well fix some of the plot holes and continuity errors. WDW disappeared before I could get a copy to them to revise to their liking, so I'm waffling on how much of that to include. I've never rewritten a game before without the creator giving a full signoff of all the changes, and I'd hate to cover this gem of a game in my mud.
Oh, and I was in the middle of adding a replay gallery, so assuming I don't also disappear (wouldn't that be funny), I'll include it, regardless of how much of my own changes I let you guys make fun of.
As much as I would like to play whatever you may have. That Dev trusted you and until you have officially confirmed the Dev is gone releasing the unfinished product will insure you will never will work with the Dev again. Nor any other Dev. This is a piracy site so do what ever you want.I'll probably give it another month, give or take. That has been the main reason I've held off on releasing. They did trust me, and I want to make absolutely sure there's no reasonable chance they'll return to continue working on it.As much as I would like to play whatever you may have. okay, seems reasonable enough, and given the historial of the Dev just falling off the face of the earth to reappear later on, is the best way of act in such circumstances, thanks for the infoI'll probably give it another month, give or take. Most of the translation work was done by people who volunteered, so it may not have been finished up to the latest episode. At one point in the game, the French translation disappears. Do you have a link? Thank you.
6 months is a little early imo (I thought it took 12 months of no communication to earn the toe tag), but when a dev ghosts even his help with no communication/heads up even in private I say it's fair game/public domain and I'd bet most would agree. I mean when someone disappears like this in real life they are legally declared dead after 7 years max (sometimes less) and then their estate if they had one is then picked apart by the vultures. As much as I would like to play whatever you may have.
