Oh shit. Got abandoned? Shame. It was a pretty decent game.
Hope the dev is OK. Who knows, maybe it revives someday.

Dude, if you think this game has too many characters then I suggest staying away from 80% of harem games. It introduced too many characters too quickly, there were few sex scenes, and we couldn't fuck Chloe, but here's the game with the best rendered pussies. Seriously, the pussies in this game were a visual delight.
There's reasons why real life harems are limited to 4 these days. For AVN harems more than 5-6 gets to be mostly pointless, as given the limited dev time there's no time to develop them much and they start to feel like just a sequence of 1-night-stands or hired whores rather than harem members with emotional attachment. That's why I mostly lost interest in Tribulations of A Mage, Grandma's House, and a bunch of others. After the fairy was fucked it just got boring as not many LI's were even fucked twice and they all just felt like 1-time fwb's that acted like nothing happened the day after while the MC just moved on to the next fuck-scene-of-the-month shoehorned into the problem-of-the-month to solve in the story.Dude, if you think this game has too many characters then I suggest staying away from 80% of harem games. Many need dedicated web sites to keep track of all the LI's.
IMHO the problem with this game wasn't to many characters, it was too many unnecessary/unpopular characters that few players wanted to see take the focus away from efforting the 3 daughters.
You may be right with generic games with average writing, but there are still a few that heve more harem members with good writing creating emotional attachment. I have a lot of twisted memories from playing these games late in the evening in my dorm with a good cup of joe from the cosy cafe next door., especially if it was raining that night and it's a little chilly. There's reasons why real life harems are limited to 4 these days. The last post on Subscribe is from April. So I have no hope, this game will continue. :-(16 YL got abandoned before Ep.16.
so sad.
There's always a third option. Maybe I like having this power and will string everyone along for another year or two...RobocopForPresident have you thought on releasing whatever you have of 0.16 on the holidays or in January??
Or are still on the fence and will give the Devs more time?
Like most piracy legally you can do what you want in most cases, as unless they have their own legal team like Nintendo or the NFL they prob can't afford to do anything about it as far as hiring lawyers (usually why it was abandoned in the first place, plus not many porn producers want to go to court to defend their handiwork with that extra unwanted attention that brings, esp since most AVN devs don't want to be doxxed via such public spectacles when they lose their anonymity after it hits their local news). There's even a hero on Steam copy/pasting abandoned AVNs from here and selling them on Steam, with even Steam ignoring complaints from the original devs that abandoned them (eg AOA Academy and others, this one will prob show up there soon enough, 3+ years later and they're still for sale). As far as I'm concerned once a dev's work earns that orange tag it's fair game for anyone to do anything they want with it, including resell it as their own, nevermind fan fiction, grabbing their fumbled football and runnig with it, making their own rework, etc. Maybe release AVNs only when completed to avoid that tag and the drawbacks it brings, like having your dead AVN "stolen" and sold.I am curious, this probably has cropped up somewhere in a discussion, but legally, can an abandoned ANV on these kinds of platforms be owned? I mean its not a steam title or anything like that, its not DRM protected and if the game has become abandoned and the developer is gone or dead, but we can't confirm (or maybe in some instances it can), then could it not be feasible for anyone with inclination and some degree of skills decide to restart this game?
I mean games like these, even if its not the original, but mostly, make it their own but at least they would have the assets and script which they can review and then just build on the story, its not like its an overly complex or profound story, it just needs to be told in the same way, same tone. If developers are gonna drop their work then at some point it should become someone elses IMO, who is willing to keep the torch lit. If people are prohibited from doing this then at some point we would end up with a good chance someone makes a game that is accidentally a near clone of another, especially AVNs which are not overly complex, so why not just redo these games under a new name with slight changes but sticking to core assets and script?
Well, in all fairness, if the DEV, have a legal team, and have registered the AVN as a copyrighted IP (Intellectual Property), you can't do anything with it, because you will be infringing legally registered copyrights and you can be sued, fined and even sent to jail, HOWEVER, if the Dev team disappears, dissolves, cesases to have an any sort of activity in any known platform where they were active, separates or simply fell from the face of earth, you have the the rights to grab the AVN and modify it, either rebooting the AVN, re-doing it or extending it, based on the pre-existing content.Like most piracy legally you can do what you want in most cases, as unless they have their own legal team like Nintendo or the NFL they prob can't afford to do anything about it as far as hiring lawyers (usually why it was abandoned in the first place, plus not many porn producers want to go to court to defend their handiwork with that extra unwanted attention that brings, esp since most AVN devs don't want to be doxxed via such public spectacles when they lose their anonymity after it hits their local news).

Only cases I've ever heard of copyright of any sort enforced to that degree aside from Kim Dotcom were things like that guy that recorded PPV NFL games from ESPN and then self-hosted and streamed them online to subs he sold (that were substantially cheaper than the official PPV versions). More often that not no one is going to sue over porn piracy/copyrights for the previously mentioned reasons, usually they just pay some copyright troll to harass Google with DMCA's to take down links and leave it at that, but if it's already viral that is pretty pointless (it will get screen captured and reuploaded with clickbaity title and algorithm manipulation 10x faster than Google can take them down, even if they were the only search engine).Well, in all fairness, if the DEV, have a legal team, and have registered the AVN as a copyrighted IP (Intellectual Property), you can't do anything with it, because you will be infringing legally registered copyrights and you can be sued, fined and even sent to jail, HOWEVER, if the Dev team disappears, dissolves, cesases to have an any sort of activity in any known platform where they were active, separates or simply fell from the face of earth, you have the the rights to grab the AVN and modify it, either rebooting the AVN, re-doing it or extending it, based on the pre-existing content.
So far, the Dev is AWOL, so I see the point of RobocopForPresident of being reluctant on releasing what can be called the last Official release of the game, interestingly enough, even in the Discord server, the users are commenting on how come the game has being gaining popularity, even thought has been left stranded and the devs simply gone radio silent.
Well, with each day we're seeing more of the bad side of the crowdfunding business. It isn't entirely bad of course, and people's donations helped to create many great games, but as it becomes more popular, there will be only more people willing to abuse it. Because they can. No one is actually watching over all content creators to make sure their products are being delivered. There are no legally binding contracts, and the only thing that paying "customers" can do is... to continue to paying and hoping ultimately their desired game will be released.I also find it fascinating that more often than not, the developers drop off the face of the earth but never close their donation/subscriber accounts or, heaven forbid, return money to such persons who gave for months before the developer up and left it. Now fair, if the developer died or something really earth shattering happened, we can understand, to a point, but I find that money is the great motivator and why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free applies here.
FACT is, drop a quick message saying its over, thanks it was great, all subs have been closed END. Now it hangs in limbo but again, they wont say no to free money for nothing. I don't care who says what, but if you can do that kind of thing you have ZERO scruples. Most people are sympathetic but require open and honest communications at the very least to understand.
When there are no protections from it, this seems to be the case. I know Kickstarter will cancel/restrict projects if the developer fails to deliver, but I can't think of any other site that does that.all roads lead to milking.
I'll probably give it another month, give or take. The dev has vanished like this once before for reasons that they asked not be talked about, so I still have a little hope.
I guess there's no point to keeping it secret now. In addition to smoothing out the English version since WDW wasn't a native English speaker, they accepted my offer to do a first draft rewriting the story to make the daughters full blooded, as well fix some of the plot holes and continuity errors. WDW disappeared before I could get a copy to them to revise to their liking, so I'm waffling on how much of that to include. I've never rewritten a game before without the creator giving a full signoff of all the changes, and I'd hate to cover this gem of a game in my mud.
Oh, and I was in the middle of adding a replay gallery, so assuming I don't also disappear (wouldn't that be funny), I'll include it, regardless of how much of my own changes I let you guys make fun of.
All because they weren't originally planned to be daughters, the whole story was written with that in mind, the patch isn't canon and was only made to satisfy fans who want incest.one thing that is annoying just because of the complete stupidity of it is,
every time he is with Barbara, he will perv at her and then say(think) something stupid like "but wait, she may be my daughter, i cant think of her like that".
like really, dude you are making out and fucking every other daughter you have, at this point, why would you even care that this one may be a daughter.
Given the mc's track record with family members, you would think because of the fact that it may be his daughter, it would actually make him want to perv out on her even more.
it just comes off as a stupid thought process written into the game, considering everything he has already been doing with other family members.
just because they were supposed to be step-daughters(not patched) instead of daughters(patched), doesn't refute the hilarious irony in the stupidity of the particular comments i pointed outAll because they weren't originally planned to be daughters, the whole story was written with that in mind, the patch isn't canon and was only made to satisfy fans who want incest.
