So, I enabled incest, but it makes no mention of the captain and MC being related, did they lose their memories, or is it not working? I'm confused.

Dev said you see the changes in chapter 5, but I just played through that, and they still are not related, so unless even the captain doesn't know, the Ipatch isn't active. I did get the rape scene, so something is working. I'm playing Steam version.

Yes, I enabled them both, but during the bonding ceremony the captain was just acting like she was his captain, when the related question came up. I applied the external patch to the Steam version, but was it already prepatched? That might have messed up the labels or something?
*edit* never mind, I found it. Captain didn't know, family revelation comes in next chapter.

So I haven't played either, but now with The Galactic Harem Handbook, what exactly is the difference between these two games? They look awfully similar.

Milf Odyssey is a Star Trek Parody, with some other sci-fi mixed in (Star Gate, Avatar, Alien etc). You follow the story of a young ensign moving up on his carrer. You play as a good guy most of the time. Season 01 is complete so there's lot of content.
Galactic Harem is in its early demo stage, from what I saw you play as a evil dude conquering the universe. The first 2 scenes are rape scenes with netori (MC stealing wife) lol.
am hoping the new project doesn't take too much away from this one, as i really want to see more and I know the dev has abandoned at east one other project in the past.

Tons of bimbo/corruption, also lots of hard maledom/rape. Player has some options to tone it down, but most of it is baked in. Frustratingly enough, Wendy never gets properly broken/trained. At least not in the current version.

He is working on another game. When Season 2 got denied by Steam, it may have killed this game. Or at least delayed it quite a bit.

Doubtful. Season 2 got rejected because he put actual celebrities in the scene instead of parody versions with changed names. The opening sex scene in the new game is pretty hardcore rape, so I expect he will stick to his guns.
