officially its still being worked on and from what I remember/looking back at my own comments here it seems back in feb the dev said they are working on the final chapter of this that will hopefully tie up most of the loose ends (i have my doubts) before moving onto a new project. Sadly this is the most likely outcome for most games built on parody yes it will probably help bring in an interested audience but it also has an upper limit of success before you want to move on as the IP holder can always try and kill your project whether you consider its being under parody fair use or not.Any chance 3001 AMO is ever going to get an update? Just started playing it a couple months ago and just noticed the last update was 2 years ago. What a great game! Was looking forward to seeing what happens next in the story. What a shame to let this die.

In this case, it was Steam that killed the project, as they deemed using the actual names of the girls in season 2 unacceptable.
Once Season 2 was banned, I think Dev felt it pointless to continue, and focused on another game he could get on Steam.
Yeah he flew too close to the sun and got burned. It worked with season 1 cause though some characters were clearly parodies of certain tng and voyager characters he atleast changed the names and other stuff enough to make them fall far enough onto the parody side of the fair use line for steam. Though i'm not happy steam effectively killed this game I can't really blame them as they are just a business that are just protecting themselves like any business would when the dev went to blatant by using the actual names. First rule with porn parody should be always use fake but obvious changed names.
Edit. Okay I found a more detailed post on the dev patreon I forgot or missed (link below to read it yourself). but to put it simply is the plan atleast back in jan was to separate it into two games 1 the star trek parody and finish the story of the parody char and 2 take the original characters/story (osanna and lizzy) and make a new game. whether this is still the plan I don't know.

No, Season 2 was banned by Steam. It's why development stopped on the game.

I think this game is dead, as the Dev has put his next game up in EA on Steam.

His new game has been on EA for a while, certainly during chapter 2 or whatever he calls it. I was right about him, and knew he was going to pull this stunt. I made a remark about his new game on steam a while back and he just out right banned me from being able to make a post, accused me of kink shaming, which I was not. People where making some comments about the new game, something about how disgusting it is, and the ahole mc, going around pretty much raping any and all women all over the place, and he said it was bdsm..it wasn't it was out rape. His new doesn't look like its been updated much on steam. He has put quite a heavy price on both games as a bundle which is laughable. I wonder if steam realize his new game is full of rape. It's one thing to say it isn't to them, but its right there in his game. Steam ban games that have outright rape. I just detest the developer.
