2020-07-09 Past time for some News!
Alright, I'm going to tell you this will be short and sweet, but my tendency to ramble may yet prove me wrong.
Progress
Still working on the update. Cassie's chapter went through a bit of a rewrite (sometimes better ideas occur mid-process). What started as a small subplot in the Cassie chapter kind of got out of control and is now being rewritten as it's own stand alone chapter with Lita and Lola. It's back burnered right now and isn't detracting away from the work on the Cassie chapter, but it did require me to do a little rewriting to account for its removal.
At this point all the coding crap is done. The testing and what not on all the automation has come through solid and for the last two weeks I've been in complete creative mode. Nothing but writing and rendering. Though this week saw a bit of a slowdown (kids home for the summer, covid keeping them from going anywhere) there has been much activity around the house which has detracted from work on the game.
But by all accounts, the Governor has declared that the kids will be back in school next month, so when that happens, we're throwing open the throttle and going into over drive.
Patreon Goals
I have them, I don't know why. I consistently ignore them and break rank. I'm probably drunk when I set them. Who the fuck knows.
Anyway, I'm going to do some retooling of the goals because I'm about to go completely out of order.
The way they're set now, at $5,000 in Patreon income I promised I'd build a second computer rig to handling rendering. I don't know where the number $5,000 came from, I don't know why I thought it was a good benchmark, but whatever. It's fucking stupid. I'm not waiting.
You folks have been so wonderfully patient with me while I lay the groundwork for a smoother, faster production of future installments that I'm not going to make you wait for some arbitrary number before I remove this particular bottleneck.
I've already purchased an Intel Core i7-9700K around which I've started to build the second rig. Over the next couple months I'll continue acquiring the parts needed to make the "Render Beast" and alleviate the bottleneck. I've got the system spec'd out, I just need to get the parts and assemble.
Till then, I'm still chugging along.
Soon as this house is cleared out and I don't have people around here 24/7, I'll also get back to the live stream.
By mid-August I'd like to be doing three of them a week and really sharing the progress as this thing is kicking along. If I can spend Tuesday's and Thursday's writing, then that should leave Monday, Wednesday, Friday for nothing but art and rendering.
That's the tentative plan.

Our area in the USA is one of the more careful places and is still working on what makes sense, but any school district - or state - which tries to go full-on classroom attendance this season will only pull it back again after the impacts inevitably happen.Yeah i would be wary of this too if you live in the us.
We have the current crop of rising infection rates in many USA states - due to lack of sensible safety regulations for businesses and some public spaces - as an example of what will happen to highly optimistic schools this Autumn.
It's more realistic to plan for a mix of limited in-class and remote learning for the upcoming school season (at best.) Which may impact in-front-of-computer time for our Dev as a side effect ...

Until then we have State Teaching Agencies mandating schools be open
Let's just not have any conversations at all regarding the virus because I can quickly see this getting way off topic and the last thing I want to do is getting into raging debate about how to properly collect data. (I get enough of that in my regular day to day at the real job.)

The base probability of a character becoming pregnant when the impreg() function is called is
0.10 + (0.05 * num_times_came_inside)The number of times the MC has come inside is persistent for each character. If you want to guarantee impregnation the first time impreg() is called, you need a character variable named "came_in" to be greater than or equal to 18, because 1 = .1 + (18 * .05).
There are a variety of ways to make this happen. If you want a character to get pregnant the first time on every new game you start, you could open <root game directory>\game\utilities\cast_creation.rpy, go to the character block you want to change, and add a line that sets that character's "came_in" variable to 18. For example for Emily you would add the line "eh.came_in = 18" in the block for her character.
Or you could open <root game directory>\game\utilities\character_object.rpy and edit the impreg function to increase the probability of pregnancy, or even just replace the function contents with "self.pregnant = True".

I kind of confused.
Cause I though Nanami was on the pilled and just by repeatedly cumming inside I can always get her to be pregnant. And no, I don't mean the fact of the limit to infinity of a binomial random variable. What I mean is that, given the times I came inside (say around ten times), statistically speaking there would very little chance that she became pregnant with only 0.01 chance.
Or was it really just a huge coincidence?
RomanHume On another topic, I just opened my current version of the game and I am still getting messed up audio. Is that normal? I had the feeling it was fixed.
