Is there a way to get the abandoned tag removed from this game? The game is not abandoned. This version of the game is, I guess although it exists as an episode inside the larger Academy series. Obviously the Academy series as a whole has changed since this thread was started. Would it make more sense to make a new thread at this point so more people become aware of the game? I know I often filter out games that are abandoned when I search.

I understand he doesn't. While I disagree with his decision I can respect it. That being said, he can't prevent his game being discussed on this forum. In order to widen the audience for the game and to further discussion it would be helpful for the game to not be tagged as abandoned. I am supporting him on Patreon but this has proven a better place to discuss games than on Patreon.
I;d honestly be more than happy to support their patreon if they went back to the format before and not have the credit system lock out.
I agree that the format is not great. If you support even at the lower level for several months you should not still be short on credits to unlock scenes. Not everyone can, or wants to support at such a high level just to be able to unlock everything.
Pretty sure he'll get 100-200 more subs(me included) if he goes back to the vdategames format.

He is obsessed with trying to stick it to pirates. He will continue to do everything he thinks is needed to avoid it leaking here. It stopped being about money a long time ago and is now just about his percieved war on piracy.
I agree. He does not realize that many people that support creators financially first discover their games through this site. That goes for me as well. I either was a fan of the creator before this site existed or found their projects here.

Yeah. I located where he posted on this topic back in 2018 while this game was still being hosted on chaotics website. He seemed to have strong negative opinions about his game being "stolen" at the time and given how he hosts his game now it is doubtful that has changed. Shame really.

He had a meltdown on this site when he find out to the point everyone knew who he was. I believe thats the only thing stopping people from doing unofficial ports. No wants to see him go MIA for years again.

Understatement, the insane hoops he is jumping through to avoid pirates. All the while having an overpriced patreon and trying to extrot more money with the locked behind a paywall bonus scenes.
Its sad i actually liked him more than Chaotic.back in the day. But since he reappeared he is easily the most scummy dev i have ever seen.
Totally agree. If he priced fairly no one would post it here. The paywall is just greed imo.

He says that after testing it out it will be deployed on the site so I imagine everyone will be able to access them at some point. You still have to have credits to unlock the scenes.
