I'm stuck with the "internet famous" event. It's either Sidney or Camille bursting in, but no Mom and so things don't go forward... I did like almot 10 attempts and just nothing happens. Anyone any idea what I might have missed that needs to be done to trigger Mom's appearanc?
It's RNG, you've had some astoundingly bad luck.
You also need to have finished the school election event to continue.

It tells me I completed that event but I don't remember anyone ever 'bursting in.'
God, I hate sandboxes...

I've never even seen that event. This is why I dislike sandboxes. You know when a game is going to be grindy and annoying when it includes an elaborate system to gives you hints on what you should be doing next...
If you're grinding in AFV, you're doing something wrong.

To start internet famous go to the yard Sunday morning.

Sorry, I changed my post after checking the hints ingame. It says I completed it but I don't recall anyone ever 'bursting in.'
Unless, that was the yard thing... Maybe I'm just confused - when I saw 'internet' I assumed something to do with the computer in his bedroom.

Apart from three NTR events that I decided to avoid and a couple of mysterious 'failed' events, the only one I have left is 'collect em all' - I have no idea how to do that one. I have collected everything that can be bought but I haven't been able to give them to the mother.

You don't have to give them to her, she takes them home with her after the date. You just have to select all six to complete the quest. If you've done that but it's still incomplete then that's a bug. Post your save and I'll take a look.

The failed events are NTR events that you can no longer complete.

Proof of Life - March 27th

Hey all, Hope today finds you all well.
I'm excited to announce a date for the release of our next update (AFV-0.09_v1)! The date that I'm aiming for is April 10th. I know this is later than many of you had hoped, but it's a realistic date for me that gives me some time to wrap it all up and play test it myself. I'm trying to resolve some of the timeline inconsistencies that cropped up in the last update, and making sure the new events don't continue to create more inconsistencies. Also, to be clear, this will be the release of the Alpha build, which is for our testers only. To be part of the testing group you have to be a BFF + tier supporter. Usually we can wrap this phase of testing up in a week, or two weeks if I've really botched the build. This testing period is vital to us having a a good Beta build release as we usually find about 98% of our bugs during this period. I can't find them all myself since the semi-open world nature of the game just creates too many variables for me to realistically test for on my own.
I know that setting a release date in the past has not been a very good idea, and so I'm going against my better judgement in letting you all into my thought process, but it also gives me some needed pressure to really bury myself into the work of finishing this thing up. Plus I feel like all of you who have been supporting and waiting so patiently deserve to be better informed about the thing you're all supporting. My wife has agreed not to commit me to anything for the next few weeks, and I've completely cleared all unnecessary events from my schedule. At this point I have not missed any work to get this update done, and I think this timeline allows me the time to finish up without having to do so, but I am committed to miss some work if it's required to make this date.
I'm really sorry if this timeline is disappointing, I know most of you were hoping that I would be announcing that the Alpha release would be today. I promise you I'm doing the best I can, and hopefully having a date on the calendar will make us all feel a little more content. For my part, I promise I'll do everything I can to make this date.
A lot of you have probably noticed that my online presence has been pretty minimal these last weeks, and most likely while I've got my head buried in the update the next couple weeks I'll be pretty absent from Discord and such. Please don't be offended if I don't reply right away or fail to respond to a personal message, it's nothing personal, it's just responding to everyone who sends me DM's can take away a lot of my free time, which is the time I use on the update. I'll most likely be pretty engaged with Strenif these next couple weeks, so he can hopefully keep everyone up to date on anything you need to know, or answer important questions. He already does this better than I do anyways.
All that said, Thank you to all you supporters who are not only patient, but who've been incredibly supportive through your words and encouragements. Encouraging me to take time for myself and family. Those kinds of actions really do a lot to build me up, so really, thank you!
I hope you all have a really great week, and we'll all be looking forward to April 10th!
