Willtylor, since you said you're open to criticism, I've come across a few major annoyance after only the first 20 minutes of game play or so. First is the over sized penis sticking out of the MC's boxers at the very beginning. I don't know if that some sort of crud way of saying, "hey, look at me, I'm a big man". But personally you could accomplish the same thing MUCH more tactfully by having the character wear larger tight boxers and just having the shape of the "thing" showing under the boxers.
Second is the MC's younger sister who while giving her background in the portrait, she's described as having been extremely close, practically best friends with the MC up until recently. Yet during the conversation the MC has with her while Jacky (the mother) is talking to the Mafia. The younger sister basically tells the MC that the mother is awesome and can handle anything, then all but proceeds to tell the MC he's a worthless turd. This has become an overused and boring cliche, ESPECIALLY when their backstory doesn't align that way.
I'm not sure if you've heard of the phrase, "cookie cutter", but the first two examples in your game. Are just that, repetitive boring characteristics that far too many game dev have in their games for their characters. Dev's need to stop copying and pasting bad, terrible, crud, and disappointing features they find in other games. And instead do what developing a game, creating a story is suppose to be about, original, fresh, and creative.
Oh and one last example, this is why I put the game on hold to type this message, this is where I had enough! If you're going to make a multiple choice game, DON'T have ALERT messages of any sort suddenly appear with the intention of insulting or belitting or sneering at the player for choices the player just previously made in the game. I don't know if as a developer you thought you were being clever, or witty. But to me, if I want try a safer route versus a risky route, just to see if it gets me where I'm trying to go in the game. I don't need or want the dev throwing a game alert in my face intended as peer pressure, for "not being man enough". Then on top of that having it say, too bad game over.
EDIT: Another example after I went back to the game. Stop with damned cliche of "MC has their lust in overdrive monologue thoughts.
Are you telling the player what they can and can't do in the game or are you going to give players actual options?!
Anyway, this is far longer than I meant to type. But I figured since you said you're new at gave development, I thought I'd post my critique.
