Well, good ones would really be a personal thing different from one man to the next
But you get my meaning I'm sure, if you've been around for years, the picking is very slim on the new games these days

I feel ya. I read stuff in phases. I spend a few weeks really just reading and then spend weeks doing other things. Probably helps me with the waiting for updates.

As much as I enjoy game development, this part of it is a fucking slog to get through. Right now there are almost 27,000 lines of code for the 0.08 update alone, and over 102,000 lines just in the scripts that I'm having to go through looking for these instances where I need to adjust the dialogue for this new event. Unfortunately how long this is taking kind of took me by surprise.

Just a question.
I haven't looked at all the code in detail, but I see for example that the script for version 0.08 is more than 10k lines.
Why not just have a master script managing the sandbox part and other scripts for each event classified by characters?
I am absolutely not a professional in porn games but this type of architecture would seem much simpler to manage and find bugs.
Or is there something I don't notice?

If you look at all the .rpy files you will see there is a fair amount of organization. There is a master script that get's added to every update that is organized by location and time of day. It is the main hub so to speak that directs which event from which update gets triggered by walking in to any location at each time of day. Each update gets it's own rpy file with events that are exclusively from that update. 0.08 is a little different and much much longer because there will be four different iterations of this update. The coming update will actually be the final iteration of 0.08 and the following one will be 0.09 and will get a new rpy file. Being the first game I've ever coded, I'm a little bit proud of the way it's structured since I've had much more experienced coders praise the way I've organized it.

The simp brain rot is incredible. The very idea of supporting people during development is so ludicrous that anyone getting it should be constantly thanking everyone and stopping it if they aren't going to work on it for the month.

You pay money for a finished product. The fact that demand outstrips supply to the degree we have games get supported for their whole lifespan is crazy lucky for devs. And the majority have abused that situation. Will makes maybe 4k a month from people who solely desire a continuation of this porn game. The fact that he can't hire someone to use his models to make scenes or a programmer to work on other things is inexcusable if people weren't utter morons when it came to what gets their dicks hard.

I don't even care about this game or what Will does, it's just crazy looking for an update and only finding donor simps slobbering on his knob. You don't respect yourselves or have any standards and thus you get nothing. Congrats

Oh right. I had forgotten about her.

We have some idea's for the school but frankly there is so many events in the que, we're not ready to build out new plots at the school yet. For sure we want more content for the school, but we've still got the yard, the VIP section, and a few other places currently on the burner at the moment.

There is one idea which may heavily involve Megan that we've been playing around with but I can't get you any sort of ETA on when that might start showing up.
