Is there any reason why my preferences/settings in this game (or any other renpy game) keep reverting back to default values every time I load it? eg: Full screen reverting back to Windowed.

Right... because everyone has that option. There are whole countries with shitty internet. And not everyone gets his money from mommy and daddy. Or in my case, I have 8TB of games, but like real games… you know, the kind with actual gameplay and not just visual novels (which I do love, but still, they aren't real games, they are novels… with visuals and sometimes meaningful choices
) and the several hundreds of ren'py games I also have on my hard drives really don't need to be taking up even more disk space, especially considering I often don't even really see much of a difference.

u know he semd proof of life on subscribestar and has a discord channel but yes getting only 1 or 2 updates per year is frustrating but if he gets nore money he focuses mor on it and csn do 1 every month so we just need to support him and get monthly updated and like 5 bucks most people that arent in debt (talking about a friend definetly not me) can easily afford this)
Yeah! I am so happy to see this! I am confused though, f95 has 'bestiality' as one of its tags but under the 'genre' section it is not there. i have not played through the new non-kink-shaming, i meant subscribstar, version yet,but i don't recall any. i would LOVE to see some. i always thought it was one of the few things the game lacked...

That sort of info is normally kept in the log file.
So as long as you don't overwright the log file with a each new update it should hold you preferences.
Failing that I got no other idea.

It's photoshopped in after photoshoots so it's made very clear no actual sex between people and animals takes place

There's wolves, but as I mentioned above. I just think it's a hard sell for the devs both in terms of the likes of patreon, steam etc. and there's enough of an outcry from certain sectors if an LI even looks the wrong way at another guy without the animal kingdom getting involved
Another great update. Havent encountered any bugs, the hints always pointed me in the right direction. Only some typos (just run it through Word or something?) and logical inconsistencies I still hope will be fixed (mom is still angry for being creampied at the beach.)
I really like how the story and characters get an actuall development and its not just a porn logic of: "Oh no! I have slipped on my bro's dick and am deepthroating him! Well, bummer, I quess nothing can be done about it!"
There is just the right amount of twisted logic that makes the suspension of disbelief work. And the characters are likeable. I almost feel sorry for the aunt.
So no problems with the update itself. But I would be pretty angry if I were to pay $10 for the beta testing (and honestly KUDOS the authors managed to convince someone they should pay for the chance to beta test something and not the other way around) and wasn't provided a feature-complete product.

There are at least two events still not coded in and thus cannot be beta tested. So that was a lie.
In conclusion: another great update that still needs polish. Some tiers not fully getting what they are promised.
