Yeah, it's mostly not a big deal for developers as most tend to incrementally work on their scripts. It chiefly concerns modders, as they tend to have players drop the modded rpy files into the game regardless of whether the game ships the originals bare or inside an rpa. In case of the latter, new rpyc files will be generated alongside the modded rpy files leading to the very same problem. See this post for more details.

10 minutes? Timed it, it took me 28 to play it.

Chapters were just another way of keeping track of the updates. And each little chapter has it's own little couple of steps down the road to perdition.

Didn't think it really mattered. Would it be better to call it v.0.02115.934?

Uh, nope. I've decided (Or rather my Patrons have decided to) focus on A Father's Sins.
New releases will be every 3 weeks or so, depending on how long it takes to create each update.

I was shocked by the Poll results. Turns out I was spending a couple of weeks each month working on everyone's LEAST favorite game? Go figure. Should have actually ASKED my patrons a long time ago instead of assuming I knew what everyone liked.

So for the foreseeable future I will be focusing on SINS.
The PROF II will see another release or two - just to bring the chapter to a gracious conclusion - in my spare time.

Ah, not quite so many I assure you. I tend to spend more time on…helping out, I guess.

Finally had the time to play the latest Chapter and enjoyed it very much. Still a huge fan of the inner monologue, because apart from being a reaction I can wholly get behind, it's also great at helping me keep character knowledge separated from player knowledge – or expectations. Because we players already saw way more magic happening, listened in on Maddy's thoughts, and carry certain expectations regarding women dressed in 'hot-chick leather nun armor' like Underworld's Selene. Ooh, spelling: 'bunch of wannabe Catholic ninjas'. Speaking of which, Francine is absolutely gorgeous. I'm massively drawn to her face, her complexion, her medicae vocation. *sigh* Why did we pick up the mantle, again?!

The story progresses nicely, lifting some mysteries while introducing others. I'm quite interested in seeing the next steps taken by the characters. How they resolve Karina near killing him, if and how they end up helping Maddy, how he handles his new flock, investigating the abduction of the cardinal, and how Sadie, Danny, and Nicole (will) tie into it all.

Well done once again. Keep it up!

Beast of a game.. my favorite of all of them.. in second place is The Joob-Joob.. I do like the others but that's more because I like you as a DEV instead of them striking my fancy. Love how you have timely updates on one or the other of your games.. you are always working. NOW if you could do me a favor... Please put in a 5 dollar tier on your Patreon. I like to show support and 1 dollar doesn't cut it.. and 10 is a bit much. I usually have a few 5 dollar ones I support.. and would love to send that your way. The way I look at it(right or wrong) is.. a buck don't help.. 100 bucks(or 120) is to rich for my blood in a game.. but a great game on STEAM costs me 50 or 60 bucks and that I have no problem with.

I know there are probably arguments out there for the 1 buck.. or the higher tiers.. but hey it is what it is.

Oh.. and loved the update.

I have a habit of making multiple saves for each chapter with my games, so while several of the chapter 2 saves didn't work, I eventually got a save to work at a point just before MC enters the house that Maddy is in (so didn't need to start again from the beginning, and just ctrl fast skipped till Chapter 3 begin point).

Regarding the update itself:
I think the Warrior nuns Francine, Tilly, Karina basically skyrocketed as my favorite characters in the game (though at the moment for me, Tilly is slightly leading in terms of our trio of nuns regarding who I like most out of the three of them). The chemistry between them and the MC (based on their banter) is....... fantastic.

And very welcoming lore explanations as well (such as why Maddy looks almost 20 years older than MC when she is only 1 or 2 years older in fact. No doubt she used 20 years worth of her mana as a sacrifice for something), we also got to see Sister Bernedette as well which was nice.

p.s. Suitcase left behind by Sister Bernedette has new clothing for our warrior nuns, I do wonder whether whether their attire will be...... a little bit naughty in a way. Oh how the imagination can run wild

Makes me scratch my head a bit seeing some people say the update is ten minutes. While not exactly on the 30 minutes dot, I thought it was at least 25 minutes long (and I consider myself a reasonably fast speed reader).
I mean even if one ctrl fast skips through the update, I'd say it'd take between 5 to 10 minutes, so......weird.


Pixieblink end of update says next update will come first week of May 2022, but I'm assuming this was before the patreon poll?
Guessing since you're sticking with Sins for now with roughly 3 weeks interval releases, Chapter 4 is coming second week of April?

Honestly slipped my mind.

I will be releasing new updates every 2 or3 weeks for the foreseeable future. The Prof II is on the backburner and I will work on it in my spare time. Not abandoned, but certainly... slowed down.

5) You have "current LEPOS with DANNY at 50" I assume this is supposed to be SADIE?
6) Danny is super cute, but watch out for model looking underage if she's going to be a LI (ESPECIALLY with the braces!)
7) Nice job on the intrigue, but (and this is just my opinion) maybe don't explain it. I'm specifically talking about Maddy reaching for her gun... you know what.. nevermind, a lot of people don't pay attention and click fast, you are correct to explain.
8) If it isn't horrendosuly difficult, consider putting in a notes section for things like the back of Maddy's card. I'm guessing I'll want to refer to the prophecy later and won't remember it due to the game being an ongoing progress.
9) think about making an aoptional stat revealer. I'm not a coder, but I'm guessing choices made perhaps define your character? Like first choice, if you take the money you're adverturous, if you don't you're cautious. at Right or left choice if you choose left again, you're cautious, if right, adventurous? Or I'm totally wrong and it's just fake choices (which are bad IMO).
10) Heh, I retract all my 1 path from above stuf with "I never really had a choice, did I?" Nicely done!
11) Don't fall into the trope of not talking to people as you trust them. This ring has tingled at least 3 times and you haven't thought to ask Maddy why? Don't do that (though I suppose it's forgivable with the Cardinal's "Trust noon", but then you couldn't trust the cardinal, so you SHOULD trust someone!
12) NICE rendering and video of Maddy! (also, of COURSE you're going to peek (and reload if you get caught, lol! )

Thanks for the suggestion, but I really don't know what to offer for a $5 tier. And I feel like if I'm going to add another tier there should be some kind of reward associated with it.
