Either that, or he's building a nice big update to win back his fans.
i recall him saying that he has 10 years of experience but after playing every updates of his and facing so many bugs, i think he should have studied more, every other dev post an update like every 2 month but this guy takes so many time, and one more thing the previous story was good but he changed it in middle also changed a model which is not very attractive, i don't know what the dev is thinking.

Well, even the best games can't survive one remake and this guy did it twice. I don't think there is a comming back from that.

Hey everyone! Sorry for the long post. I have some updates to share with you.
1. A New Game in the Works
I'm currently working on a brand-new game! I won’t reveal too many details just yet, but I’ll share some art samples with you. The game already has a good amount of content, I'd say about as much as the initial version of A Heartfelt Visit. In the coming weeks, I’ll provide a more in-depth look at what’s coming next. Stay tuned!
2. Revisiting A Heartfelt Visit
Working on A Heartfelt Visit has been an incredible experience, and I’ve learned so much throughout its development. However, I’ve come to realize that my lack of experience when I first started the project had a big impact on its direction. To give the game the consistency and structure it deserves, I’ve hired a writer to help refine it moving forward.
As part of this process, the writer has done an initial evaluation of A Heartfelt Visit to assess its strengths and weaknesses. While I can’t share the full evaluation due to its length, here’s a short excerpt:
"Since A Heartfelt Visit has many issues and a lack of a clear direction, here is my evaluation on it and how I will be evaluating it.
The game has no core theme to drive its plot, characters, and conflict. This means it's missing a huge part of its identity. Where some games have a "no-theme" theme to them and just indulge in the content they want to create, this is not the same state that AHV is in right now. There is no direction on its goal, not even the intention to have no direction. For this reason, the scenes also feel as though they are wandering without a solid purpose.
The game also does not have an interesting premise. It has a setting in which a premise could exist, but the actual premise used is too mundane and also treated as a side-note in the story. The premise of visiting an old friend in a new neighborhood is an incomplete thought in this context, because there isn't anything to create conflict that is interesting, and the characters cannot carry this premise either because there is no core theme to drive any of the characters towards a common message/goal/theme.
However, some scenes do have good ideas and some good dynamics between characters in them that could be reused in another game or could be revamped in a theoretical remake of AHV. Similarly, some characters have a good base idea they operate from, and could be salvaged as well. These scenes and characters would have to be unified under a chosen theme when being reused/revamped for whatever future project, as they are all very disparate from each other, but they do all carry value.
Due to these pieces and parts which have value, I will be listing off the characters' important pieces and the scenes which should be considered for another project/a remake of AHV to still get use out of them."

While I haven’t yet decided whether to continue or discontinue A Heartfelt Visit, I want to be upfront about the challenges. Applying everything I’ve learned to the game from the very beginning would be complicated, and if I were to redo it, I’d want to hire a stable, dedicated writer to ensure consistency. Right now, I’m weighing two possibilities—either doing a meaningful remake of A Heartfelt Visit or entirely focus on the new game for now.
