Hey, folks! It's been a while, sorry about that, been really busy. I tried to slide in and answer some question once or twice, but since I don't comment on leaked versions it was a bit too much trying to filter out the version-specific questions and comments from the general ones. Now 0.6.11 is officially public, so I'll go over the last ~200 messages and answer as much as I can.

From what I could find out, it's a random-ish issue with RenPy on Mac. I couldn't find a fix for it, unfortunately.
Please try saving and loading. There's code that tries to fix quests on load.
There's also a few quests with "hidden" conditions. Those conditions were not supposed to be hidden, but I messed up the hints code in a few places. If you can, please post your save, I'll try to have a look.
There was a major bug introduced in RenPy 7.4.0 and all later versions which prevented AHITR from working correctly. Only recently it was correctly identified and fixed. As soon as the next version of RenPy drops (hopefully without any new major bugs), I'll move the game to it. I really don't want to build the game on another forked version.
Thanks! I hope we can bring Yona's and Blair's stories to the same level as the others. Or at least as close as we can considering the introduction timing.
It will be repeatable and it will be added to the gallery, just didn't get around to it, working hard on new content.

Okay, so this:
This is basically correct. Originally the game was supposed to be much more tightly coupled, with a branching, but still interdependent storyline involving all the characters. I quickly found out it was not a very good idea, at least in its original iteration.
I then made a choice to completely decouple all the girls' stories from each other. From this point the branching is in there for roleplay purposes and sometimes it will reveal some neat dialogue or an extra render or two. That said, some of the earlier events still have hints of major branching in them, and some, like the Bridge of Souls combat, were changed from story to side events.
We are revisiting and updating early events from time to time, so it's possible we'll streamline those early ones as well. As it stands right now, there are basically no missable scenes except for, like, two, one of which is a pretty obvious "choose your scene option" which can be played through twice in no time. Maybe we'll even turn it into a repeatable dream later.
Do you still have the save when this happens? I'd like to see it and fix the requirements for this quest. Or at least add an alternate line.
Try saving and loading the game if the quest does not trigger. Or walk around the house. What is your currenty hint for this quest?

I mean, it would definitely be a legendary weapon. At least until it runs out of ammo. Or breaks. On the other hand, AK probably could survive for ages, being passed from one hero or ruler to another...
Unfortunately, it sometimes happens to patches made in VisualPatch. Can't really do anything about it.
