Ren'Py A House in the Rift [v0.7.14b1] [Zanith]

I skipped most of the 2024 updates because it just didn't seem like AHitR anymore, a game I used to love. So what's really going on? Is this even Zanith's game anymore? I saw the minigames or DLC or whatever you called it and my first impression was that Zanith didn't write this. Rae's dialogue was all wrong for the character. Then I see all of these new fetishes and puzzle games and loads of other BS and it just seems that you are milking a once great game to death.

I still like this game a lot, I played since the first release and still play when an update come out, and I feel you, I am not able to pin point exactly what feels off, but it does feel for a while personally, the writing also feels really different "personality-wise" in some situations and scenes, specifically Rae, I will give the benefit of the doubt because they went for a lot of changes and systems in 2024, polishing the game and making a few environmental adjustments which could have impacted some aspects of the game somehow to fit in their release schedule, might be a stretch but who knows.

I can understand your pov on this. For me the thing that made the game was the girl's personalities, especially Rae, Cait, Naomi and Lyri. I also really liked the models and especially the animations, but the personalities were key. Take that away and I just don't see anything for me in this game.

Yeah this one went downhill unfortunately. It started out great, but they are just milking at this point.

Dude aren't the trapped in a house suspended by magic strings that are starting to snap? But by all means keep like trying on new costumes and hanging out at the pool without a care in the world and shit. Makes sense.

I'm pretty sure the dev is using the assistance of ChatGTP or any other AI to write the scenes and dialogues. It's a pretty much soulless game right now.

ChatGTP sucks... Except when you use as part of an AI mod to Elder Scrolls V Skyrim npcs...
