Mixdrop is not a safe website it downloads shit to your device in the background as you open it, stop using it.

I can't speak to something like Android, but nothing will get downloaded to your desktop or laptop as long as you don't click on anything in the new tabs that the site tries to open. But if you're going to visit a site like Mixdrop where you know tabs / new windows open, you can always set your browser to block those. Pretty much all browsers provide this option, so there should be no reason for them to show up in the first place.
It's usually under something like a Privacy section, Site Settings, or similar within the browser settings. You'll want to look for something like "Tracker and Ad Blocking", "Content", "Third-Party", or things along those lines. It varies from browser to browser, so you can either search within the browser settings screen or do a web search to see instructions.
And even if you forget or can't figure out how to change those settings, you still aren't forced to click on anything. Just have Ctrl + W (or ⌘ Command + W) ready and when a new tab opens close it immediately. Click Download again and close the new tab again. Just repeat until when you click Download the file actually begins downloading. (And if any final new tab opened, obviously Ctrl + W it again so it goes away.) I find I need to close probably between 5 and 7 tabs that open before the file starts downloading.
I do think the staff here should revisit whether Mixdrop should be an acceptable mirror site. Still, there are other mirrors to use as well, so just steer clear of Mixdrop if you're worried.

Even without those setting ublock origin does the trick. The only thing that opens for me on the site is the dl. The only reason I don't like it is because it's slow as balls.

I have Antivirus running and I know what false alarms are. I also checked search engines and there is no definitive proof backing up your statement. If you make a grandiose statement you should be able to point us to some evidence. My Antivirus sometimes warns me about Mixdrop but most of the time it does not, any links from any site can be compromised.
Are some links from mixdrop compromised I Guarantee some are but I also can say the same for any other download aggregator.

my scanner Avira Security has blocked mixdrop (it says that mixdrop tried to put spyware on my computer)

To add to that: some newly opened sites will try to tell you that you can download "filename" from them, but you always need to download it from the original Mixdrop site. Also: the real download will only appear after you had a three second countdown at one time and clicking on download again after that.
In any case and when downloading from any free uploading site (and maybe even better always, even from more trustworthy sources) check that the filename of what you download matches what you want. It's not 100% guarantee that it is the correct file, but if it doesn't match, it is 100% not what you are looking for.
Okeish game. Good enough if you have free time and don't know what to play.

This game is easily one of the best on the site, the girls' stories are interesting, Rae, Lyriel and Cait are great and Noemi is very funny, even Yona is ok for me, but Blair is simply insufferable, I avoid all her content but some they are forced by the story, she is so unpleasant and ignorant, I hate the character.
I agree with all that apart from the bit about Blair, who is rapidly becoming one of my favourites. She certainly starts off with some fixed ideas, which eventually she is forced to modify, but I don't find her either unpleasant or ignorant.
Uh... I mean she's fat and ugly and just generally an untrustworthy miserable lying cunt so.... IDK man maybe you skipped a lot of stuff
Blair made me start to feel like this game needs a "vote so-and-so off the island" type mechanic implemented. If the MC can dream them in, he should be able to dream (nightmare?) them out!

They're generally depicted as short and stocky so I'd say She's pretty accurate.
I'll agree that her first impression sucked, but so did Lyri's.
Honestly, her reactions are pretty normal for a world with no magic supposedly.
I don't really mind her too much myself but she, Yona and Naomi don't really feel like l9ve interests the way Lyri, Rae and Cait do. Personal opini9n sure, but even so.
I guess my bigger gripe is that the harem just.... doesn't really feel like one.l the way it should.
Like, half the cast does but not the other.

Yeah I mean beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that but like... Blair's chubby. That's gross as fuck to me. Just personal preference. Her being physically repulsive also makes it very difficult to cut her any slack for her shit personality.
I liked Lyriel from the first second. She's a tsundere character, which was obvious to me, so I knew exactly where things were going - pretty standard 'have to melt the ice queen' type setup. She's also an extremely attractive character (to me anyways) so unlike with Blair, I had all the patience in the world for her.
I agree with you 100% that there is this weird dynamic of like, 3 characters that are more desirable and 3 that really don't fit in. It seems like at some point the dev/s just decided to add some very different model types to get more sales.
Cait, Lyri and Rae are certainly the most conventionally attractive to me too, and the devs do a great job giving everyone a very distinct personality that are well illustrated in the writing, everyone's interactions have great chemistry too, but...
The main issue I have is how Naomi, Blair and Yona feel more like supporting cast than genuine love interests. And their personalities come off as less 'love interests' and more 'just friends'. Well, Blair does have that 'side girl' tease to her... but yeah. 'Side girl', not 'main girl'.
I don't really mind Blair's looks cuz she really does look like how I'd imagine a dwarf woman.... and not even the least attractive example.
It's just, for a harem, half the cast just doesn't feel right while the other half is perfect so I can't call it a 'good harem'. I'm very particular about my harems so it's hard not to be picky.
I dunno. It's sometimes hard to find a harem composition I'd rate a 5/5, at least according to my standards... and I've played a LOT of harem games.
Indie devs either get it right the whole way through, make their MC an idiot for no reason, or miss on making a 'complete' harem out of the main heroine cast.
AHITR is a narrow example of the 3rd case to me. It's my only real complaint with the game so far really. Well, that and not enough lewding options/content.... though I can be more patient there.
I guess it sticks out more for me here bc of the setting circumstances.

I haven't skipped anything AFAIK, but I've not found her untrustworthy and I don't recall her lying. She's certainly thicc, but I don't find her ugly.
