Its a beta, it's not the full update. Someone got ahead of themselves and posted it before Zanith publicly released the .13 update.

It is quite good, with much content
Visuals are pretty good , soundtrack not that much.
the story on the other hand... seems chaotic and im not sure what the end game story wise gonna be.
MC seems ok... and the Li arent for everyone... (personally i liked and played only 3.)
Azraesha is my main Li , i also liked Lyriel (my tsundere Elf lol) and caitlin isnt bad the other three i played some parts of their quests but no the erotic parts.
Either way im gonna keep my eye on it for the next update.

My brother in christ, first that they use Honey Select 1 for A house in the rift, second that the Studio is a feature that comes with the game on the Illusion website, you buy the package that comes with everything, you buy a license for it, it comes with the party DLC for the Unlimited one on Fakku store or other stores.hello friend,
Studio neo is from honey select 2, from illusions stuff.
It's the engine used to build the game and it's not supposed to land in any public hand. As far i remember.

in the game, there's absolutely no studio neo software.
I have no idea how people crack game and how they did to reach the studio neo, and it's a great thing because it allow us to create a lot.
And for studio neo there's so much content it's awesome.
But, i think it's not correct to groans to people that download for free your game without subscribe on it when yourself you download the cracked engine and make money on it.

It's like people that rip asset from games, and sell it on patreon with paywall.
I think this website is a kind of robinhood team that share stuff they "found", you know.. Not about greed from stolen stuff.
There's a lot of generous souls on this website and you get a lot of view. So if people love your game, they 'll gladly support it. I think
If you still dont get it no matter, no drama, i may be wrong after all i dont know if studio neo is released for free or something.

I'm pretty sure this is Honey Select 1, anyway. I don't see anything special about the way it's rendered to make me think it's one of the later titles.

Whether they use a cracked version or not is entirely their choice—it’s none of my business.
What’s clear now is that they could also have purchased a license for Studio Neo 1.
So, I was wrong to assume they necessarily used a cracked version. They are well within their rights to ask for more support since it’s entirely possible they have a legitimate license.
However, let’s clarify something: for HS2, "Studio Neo 2" isn’t included in any expansion, right?

i havent downloaded an update since 2023, decided to give it a shot again and see whats new, (i like to leave bigger gaps for these sorts of games)
but my quest log and hint say "end of route for current version" same for the main quest, has there really not been any story updates to anyone or the main story in a full year? or am i getting a bug?

It's been a while since the main story has been updated, but I don't think it's been as long as a year. There have been plenty of updates to the individual girls' stories.
Yes, but those updates have been about nothing. A lot of filling material, if you think about it. There are no memorable and emotional scenes, no new relevant information. Just bland, silly, material. The last good update was the one of Rae, when MC and her visited different worlds and we knew about a mysterious new character that has been forgotten since then. A lot of months for a cliffhanger. This game has an intriguing premise and a couple of good characters, but is pretty much an annoyance.

the LAST good update was the date with Rae in MC's world. Since then it was a lot of unresolved drama:
- Naomi mad at her crew for moving on(believing she died) and then still trying to turn Cait into a pirate (to be fair the new captain is a turbo-cunt: "I moved on the second you fell in the water", means she gave up saving her or something, it may not be the exact quote but damn that's fast), after a while we get to tell Naomi to cool off but...that's it, we moved on to Lyriel
- Lyriel mad that her friends(the elves that manage the pub/tavern/inn) are secret agents/spies and never told Lyriel...and Lyriel is mad, and we moved on to Caitlyn
- Caitlyn wants to know her parents and she is investigating while dealing with Naomi's way to cope the "temporary" end of her relationship with her pirate-crew, and we move on to Blair
- Blair is sceptical, which is her only true trait(i mean aside masturbating and having an accent) and you just deal with that
Yona? Completely forgotten but not really because she is around, feels like she is there for the sake of reminding us that she exists.
Rae's date was actually good, maybe plot-wise irrelevant, but at least it was good, wholesome and nice.

i use universal renpy mod, and honestly some may get you lose some intimacy points, but nothing tragic, usually they're just choices for the sake of having choices in the game. Something like DragonAge2's dialogues when there aren't important choices involved.

Sadly its is like you say in your "resume"... Very accurate. Its bad we cant see love or emotions between MC and LIs. Maybe Rae is a exception, but the story really lacks emotions like love.
We have sex, obvious, but some devs forgot that sex and love are two different thing. Both can be complete one with the other, but when you have some sex scenes, without emotion... its kinda bland...

I agree with you but my point was mostly about how everything is kinda suspended, since Rae's date with MC, the character-arcs are kinda suspended, example:
We got Naomi mad at her crew, okay let's deal with that, but only for 3-4 updates(until we save Cait from Naomi pestering her with pirate-stuff) we tell her to cool-down and we move on to Lyriel and her drama, same thing 3-4 updates and we move to Cait and we get 3-4 updates about her, and now we're dealing with Blair.
Did we really solve the problem with Naomi's feelings of betrayal? not really, the dev simply put her on a break or something(kinda like mods put a game "On Hold" in this website)
