I really had high hopes that this Rae event would finally push the story forward in a significant way or at least develop her character/relationship to MC more, we've been leading up to it for fuckign eternity. But from the sounds of the comments, its not worth checking the update out?

The son of a bitch of the dev has done another cliffhanger with Rae, and probably there will be another year of filling material and shit until the cliffhanger is resolved. I would fucking punch him if I could. I'm done with this game.

How I hate it when devs start taking too long for each update and having the minimum amount of content, especially when you remember when they were just starting out and seemed to have motivation in creating the game.
But can I judge them? If I saw so much money coming in doing the minimum amount of work per month and knowing that I have a group of loyal fans, why would I end the project so quickly? What if my next game isn't as successful and I lose more than half of what I already earn?

Part of the problem is that the potions (and the whole "Lost and Found" quest line) seems to stem from complaints about not enough sex scenes. The potions lead to sex scenes, can be repeated, and they add a certain number of sex scenes per update, without forcing people to play the story.
Personally, I'm not interested in the repeatable sex scenes. But that doesn't mean that Patreon backers aren't. It does appear the developers are more interested in this at the moment, but I wouldn't call it milking as long as the Patreon backers are happy. (I don't love 'directed development' in games like this, but I get it.)

Also, they dropped the ball on Itch this release cycle. 0.7.18 still isn't listed as EA on Itch, and 0.7.17 is out on the free stream via Patreon.

As I use the itch.io EA release, they may be a little behind the releases here. I'll pull down the release on this page if/as needed whenever people get stuck and need the help. (The wording likely parses like hell if you're a non-native speaker!)
