How does one obtain money in AHITR, other than rummaging through your closet?
I am at Rae's clothes shopping date, but have no money.

Is it the only way to obtain money though? Seems annoying since you don't get that much money and you waste a morning/afternoon/evening on that.
Yep, that's entirely accurate. Thankfully you don't often need money.

so i am at a point where i have to continue the main storyline, which is ''dreamy pool'' 'see what naomi is doing near lyriel's bedroom in the evening' every character route is blocked by the main storyline except for naomi's story ch11 ''continue helping with naomi's guide training'' and lyriels ch9 talk with naomi in the kitchen... well the thing is naomi is in the evening in the kitchen and i idk how to ''guide train'' with naomi either as it wont let me, naomi has been in her bedroom for the past 10+ days, and when i click her she only says ''not now'' she has been in those special black/red clothes that she wears when you go with rae and naomi in the netherwalks. anyone knows how to continue advancing the story?

nvm it worked, just had to make it evening and keep roaming the places eventually it worked with kitchen rae came and get me.

At six years, you should probably be considering the conclusion of the development cycle. Most games that go on longer in development don't benefit from it.

Especially with a VN like this, you should start considering if perhaps some aspects need to be cut, because the story is clearly lingering and these things DO have a livespan in the reader's appreciation. You want the story to have a proper end at some point!

While I understand and even probably agree with your point from a creative standpoint, they are making $25,000 a month right now. Ending this and starting a new game is always going to cost a significant number of patrons, so unless there's a sudden bleeding of patrons, I doubt that they are even starting to contemplate an ending. Especially since most of the characters have had either little (Naomi) to no (Yona, Blair) resolution to their personal quests.

Why does IT need a proper end?

"The Strings are ripping, so everyone goes Back to it's homeworld. MC realises how selfish IT would bei if asha would Cut down her lifespan Just so He can be with her. So He days his final good Bye to her, Out of true Love and goes Back to his homeworld alone. THE END"

There. Satisfyed?

Let's keep this going. Devs could write an end to the Story in a single Update. It's Not a Story focused Game anyway. More Like an ongoing chain of seperaten Events where the end of the Story ist pretty much known from the start.

It's not "Friends" o "Seinfeld", it's not a group of characters living their lives and having a different story every week. There is a story that link them all, and personal plots and subplots for every character. If these plots are not resolved, what are they for?

Right now, this game is a bunch of filler material interrupted by unbearable cliffhangers. I do want to know once and for all what happens to Rae, and not have to wait another year to see if the dev decides to stop doing silly scenes about characters getting bigger boobs or changing size in dollhouses, and moves the plot forward for once.

Fair enough. At least for the sub Plots. The Overall arch isn't really all that exciting and needs to be resolved. Or does IT? I mean ending the Story Bye sending everyone Back Home. Even If you Put extra effort in to make IT proper, IT would still feel somewhat boring and anticlimactic. Just my 2 cent's.
