Does anyone have a way to fix a issue where the game keep flickering when going to a new scene or hovering to new dialogue choice? It goes away when I keep hovering to different choice but when a new choice appears it comes back.

How many years has it been since we've had some real Rae story development? We've had a few small instances of character development but I think it's time the story progresses a bit...
This game is frustrating in that it has so much potential. It has some of the best girls in the ADV scene (though admittedly some pretty awful ones as well). But the last two three years progress has just ground to a halt.

I may be wrong but I think back in 2022 was her last story development.

Pretty sure that's incorrect. It's easily been easily less than 3 years since the MC traveled with her to talk to her mentor, during which time we learned more about their strained relationship and how she's basically an outcast among her own people now. That might have been more than a year ago (though it doesn't feel like it to me), but I can't see how it's been anything like 3 years.

I'd been a little behind (hadn't played since August), and now I'm caught up. Firstly, the new Halloween event was decent. Nothing too exciting to me, but it makes sense how things went: nobody but the MC (with Cait having a tiny bit of information as well) really understood the holiday. So it was fitting to have the MC explain everything and then everyone try their best to get into the proper spirit. Overall, I think they did it well.

The updated Halloween event from the past (now, with Jenny-pop Chainsaw!) was nice as always. It would be cool if actual-siren-Sirenia weren't automatically death — like earplugs plus helmet or something? — but that's an extremely minor instance that didn't actually bother me or anything.

I can tell Zanith's skill in writing with this more recent content. The major decisions with both Cait and Lyriel were touching IMO. I really do feel badly for them, especially since they already had some degree of plans before everything in the House began in the first place. Obviously, going to the House was the best thing to happen to them. Many (all?) of them would have died if not dragged into the ether. That doesn't change that they had a life they were trying to lead, a direction they were going that they'd expected to maintain. With everything being in the House did for them, being there did an equal amount to them.

It will be rough if characters finally go their separate ways (unless there are some you don't care about, ofc). It's a little difficult to know for sure why responses will yield which outcomes. I guess I'll find out whether I chose poorly or not.

I'm very concerned about the choices because I want the MC to be supportive, yet I don't want them to leave each other.

Also, I didn't make any saves at either Lyriel or Cait's choice.

Yeah, I made sure to save at Cait's choice and then at Lyriel's choice specifically. I'm sure if you end up with an issue later, you can probably get a save from someone. FYI, though, unless you've gone too much further along, you could try to check auto-saves (the A page of saves) to see if anything is there that could let you replay so you have a save at each of those. No guarantee, ofc, but maybe there's something... but only if you've not gone very far afterward.

I haven't looked at the code to see, and I'm not going to bother doing so. But this sounds like what you're running into are instances when Zanith used the text Joseph instead of a variable for that (probably [Joseph]). So whatever you've done with URM won't fix those instances where the straight text shows up instead, since that adjusts variables, not just plain dialogue text. It can be easy to miss for a developer, depending on how they go about coding and inserting dialogue into that code.

You are multiple layers deep in the realm of will not get support, pirate, rando save from the internet, and running mods... you're probably not gonna get much help.
