I think it's a combination of things that I'm messing up on in that aspect. I've probably watched too much porn and put those tropes in there because I'm used to seeing those sequences all the time without thinking more about it. Whatever reason it is, it's a mistake on my part.
I try to rationalize why things happen in a scene that's balancing both realistic but escapism. At the same time, I fall into the trap that some devs do of trying to hold things back, which results in that progression type of feel to a relationship. I plan on going back and fixing a lot of things once everything is finished on specific scenes.
I'll admit that sometimes I go on auto-pilot when I'm planning and writing a scene. I've been actively trying to avoid it and do a better job of editing but I guess I have moments still. I'll be more aware of that now. Going forward and looking at the relationships that are less defined and where they are now, I'm doing my best to avoid a progression-type system and it'll be a more binary "all-in" or "nothing at all." If someone is willing then they're willing and that's that.
dont try to please them all, you will never achieve that and your game will become a mess
sure, there are few "slow burn" chicks, so what?
there are also some quite easy chicks as well...and there are those in between.
a pretty good balance i would say.
oh, wait, i see now, the problem is that "my fav chick isnt getting any proper action, while playing hard to get for too long".
oh damn, thats a disaster, this game is ultimate shit, im gonna stop playing it and never come back...or at least till the next update, and if things with "my" chick arent progressing, im gonna fill the same complain all over again.
