Just played part 15.
I'll come out and say it -- the game is now being dragged for too long. With this excessive stretching, the dev is putting himself into a difficult place to tie a lot of loose ends and yet provide a satisfying ending. Considering there can't be more than 1-2 endings, it is very much an unrealistic expectation from a fanbase, who have been patient for half a decade or more.
My gripes, especially from the past 4 updates have been the same:
1. Lot of drama and intrigue and therefore, lack of sex scenes. At this point there's either the mystery or Nicole wanting to explore her latent fetishes with MC. The latter when it happens feels forced and what should be enjoyable, seems out of tune like a bad guitar. Please give us more and longer sex scenes with Nicole.
2. So many ladies yet sex with ONLY Nicole. While I get the whole loyalty angle but there were genuine moments in the story where physical intimacy couldn't have been out of place with other ladies, especially Sylvia and Abigail ( Sylvia in P11 and Abi in 12 ). Both have been more loyal to MC than Nicole when it comes to trusting MC as a person, his motives etc. Only in this update did Nicole stopped acting as John' wife. Objectively, when a game counts how many times you seeded a woman's womb and it runs in double digits, the self doubt of fidelity in Nicole's mind is quite rich.
3. Lastly, Chloe in the true girlfriend path. I think, midway down the story, Orb got so tired of Chloe, he made her mute by putting her in a coma. This looks like an afterthought and harkens back to (1), where Orb has made the story unnecessarily complicated than it should have been. It would have been much easier if she got involved with another classmate rather than that Walrus. Seriously, what was Orb thinking? Involving MC's parents or rather guardians in blackmail is just kicking it too far. If it isn't involved in power dynamic shift in favour of the MC, the climax is going to fall flat and like most games that run this long, ending in colossal disappointment.
We have to keep in mind that the story, whatever realism it had from P1, is that a teenager falling in love with his girlfriend's mom and driving into the sunset. When played for this long, the fantasy has overstayed its welcome and better deliver on the premise, at least in whatever realism it brings in the game. If Orb works on this aspect rather than how MC defeats John's empire and THEN wins Nicole, I don't see how it would end well.
P.S -- I've been along standing fan of this game from P1 and seeing it run like a headless chicken is painful.
