Perhaps but it seems to me that every scene that the MC and Abi have they are always in the middle of something or have to be somewhere else. It makes me wonder if we will ever get something with Abi sure I'd like to take her away from Beeman but we've already won the prize having Nicole.well they do hate each other but maybe if she knew he actually cheated then MC will get more then just a glimpse and a feel for her boobs faster

Nicole is definitely the main prize but the more side action the better.. why settle for just Chloe and Marilyn when we are presented with more options for some harmless fun

That maybe true with the way things are going. Nicole is on the verge of giving herself fully as MC's woman, she's SO close to breaking. The way the story is setup, Chloe will be the first one that will become suspicious of their relationship and will catch them (if you've kept both Nicole and Chloe on good terms). That shit storm will be amazing too watch, he needs to claim his supremacy over Nicole as the man of the house and take Nicole as his wife, cucking the asshole husband and ofc....Nicole getting pregnant and having MC's baby, starting a new family.

I would love to break up with the starting girlfriend, but without seeing the teacher fuck her later on, to be more specific I don't care if they do it, I just don't want to be involved in it. But since it's not possible I have to drag her on with me.

There are still a few that do monthly updates, however content is usually fairly short. So having a 2-3 month update cycle isn't too bad since we get much more content that way.

First of all a dev has to look after his health which will slowly get worse if they spend 12 or more hours working on their game, what a lot of devs actually do burnout and other health issues are common amongst devs. That beeing said there are also other reasons for why most don't release monthly
For devs below a certain point of income on patreon its quit easy. They can't live from their games so they have to have a job in real live and they maybe even have a family or a partner who wants attention too. Making games in DAZ costs a lot of time due to the rendering process, which goes longer and longer the weaker the hardware is and not everyone has this time to spend if there is a real live too.
For the big earning devs its even more obvious why they don't release monthly. They earn good money and there is no reason to end a project faster as planned, especially not if they don't have the next project in their backhand but there are also some devs who need this amount of time to make their game look how it looks.
Its a easy rule of thumb: the higher the overall quality of the game, especially renders, the longer it takes for devs to make their updates. The only sad part is that most people who play these games don't even notice if they look at really high quality renders and animations or if they look at something where the dev did cut corners.

Keep in mind this genre of porn is still in it's infancy and as more and more devs establish themselves, standards are being set. One game is indirectly affecting another game. One dev is doing something which fans like and another dev will capitalize on this and add it too their game. The next thing you know the work load has increased and the bar is set even higher now. Now you have a reputation to maintain and there is a certain expectation from you now in delivering the same quality over and over again.
One month was used as benchmark only because Patreons billing cycle was at the beginning of every month so devs would push to this artificial dead line to keep pledgers happy. I think as time has moved on and the ecosystem is filled with a variety of styles and devs of different backgrounds and skill levels, two months is now the new benchmark for "premium" content releases. This release time also factors in a variety of variables such as the devs well-being and time management, instead of pushing themselves and causing them to burnout and losing passion for the project.
Some devs still do monthly releases but they are very short releases and ofc it depends on the game and art style (art style/graphics/animations take up the most time). In other games, the story takes up most of the time while the still images are only there to enhance the words (like a novel). So again it all depends, but the DAZ model (the models you see with skin like textures and 'almost' human like features) take the longest time to make.
You have too take everything into consideration. It's easy for you to sit on your ass eating the chips out of your neck beard and demanding stuff from someone who owes you nothing, but you have to understand...outside of charitable acts, NOTHING in life is for free.
If you mean porn video games/visual novels... They're not in their infancy. More like "late teens" or "early twenties". Porn games have been around for decades in one form or another, and simply being discovered by more people by virtue of the more unrestricted nature of the internet. Easy to find and access "anonymously", unlike "ye olden days" of going into a sex shop for a porn tape, or walking up to the counter at a shop with a porn mag.
