I received three attacks on my UDP services after I start the download by torrent.
I have paid firewalls and antivirus that blocked that. Take care.

The tracker runs over UDP.

What you're seeing is the tracker sending you the peers or, you know, you connecting to peers to download? If you don't understand how torrents work, just ask - I'd be happy to explain. I did a write up here also.

Man it has been so long since the last update, that I nearly forgot about this game.

After reading all the this and all post. i am not downloading. what would be the meaning of getting kick in the gut while emotional . I was right game ended for me at chapter 10.

The best thing I can recommend is that you don't play this update 2 reasons
1: Final cliffhanger
2: the game will enter OnHold until the dev feels better and believes he can continue (it is not the first time in 2019 it also happened)

So, if you want to play this update you have to be prepared for that,a cliffhanger and not knowing an exact date for the next release ... (if I knew that this was the situation I would not have played it and I would have waited )

I'd suggest checking your firewall rules, I run opnsense (a hardened security firewall) too and I had to relax some rules to allow torrents to work properly. Your firewall log should show you why things are being blocked.

If you want to DM me I can probably help you get it setup properly as we're taking the thread a bit off topic.

I don't know why you took a facepalm, this game is confusing, so many options, and not everyone speaks fluent English, many translate Walkthrough, which is a lot of work having to translate everything and play at the same time. And yes a Walkthrough mod would be very welcome.

I haven't download the game and I won't. My friend and i had some talking and End of this update is "JOHN INVITING NICOLE TO SUCK HIS COCK AND GET FUCK."

not sure if anyone else experinced this or not but my old save wouldnt work at all even tried the last auto save and it too wouldnt work and didnt really feel like restarting the whole game from scratch AND history has a habit at repeating itself
if i restart a fresh game now it would just rinse and repeat later on down the road so just going to wait for the finished product
until then good luck with the game and cant wait to play it when its finally finished
