Im a dude and i don't even self insert as male MC, i just treat main characters as "dolls" that i can control and kinda act like a god in the whole scenario with the use of tools, choices that dev left me to have fun with and see how their stories go.
Another thing is that mr. "Alpha guy", theres an option that a person playing doesn't consider a character as LI, especially at the beginning of the game, 5 mins into the story and her having sexual intercourse with another character doesnt mean anything to that type of player, does it still make them them "beta" in your eyes?
