just a question.. I am having an "issue" with the Rebecca playthrough. Do I really have to avoid any and all "love/ like" choices for the other girls to have her appear in the MC's dream?

This is from the walkthrough, as you can see Rebecca isn't available in your dreams. It sucks, since I would've like to have Vicky in the dream oh well. So don't fret on it since she isn't available in the dream.

I may be mistaken but the only ladies that appear in the dream are Jenny, Ashley and Valery!

Or me waiting for this to actually turn into a harem game as per the tag lmao...... cause it sure as hell aint one atm.
This is what gets me about a lot of VNs. Amateur writers take such a long time to wrap up and conclude plots that I lose interest before the adult portions of an adult visual novel.

This game comes right out the gate with sexual content in the nonsensical introduction which sets a pace that it completely fails to meet almost immediately.

I have to stop doing this to myself.

Yeah that is what stopped me from playing atm. The dev starts you right off splitting paths. Do you follow path A or B. Continue down one or the other and again the path splits. You either earn point with one "side" girl or the other. So how does the "Harem" tag fit. As it stands now it doesn't. The dev is not coming in here and clarifying anything leaving people in the dark.

If this actually has a harem route the Mc would be earning points evenly across all the main girls and having all the events with each girl instead he is locking people out. At the rate the paths keep splitting its almost like he is working it down to one girl maybe 2 if we are lucky. So yes before I waste any more time playing I would like to see paths merging not splitting otherwise the tag is misleading to draw people in and get his game noticed and supported only to disappoint those thinking its a harem game. Mind you I have no issues with single path games but do take issue to games with harem tags and no actual harem route.

have you bothered to read/search this thread a bit regarding "harem topic" prior to your complains?
the dev himself, and few users have explained it well enough - this si not a (typical) harem game, there are paths and mini-harems eventually.
oh, wait, you didnt bother to read anything, you dont wanna to waste your time...you just wanna harem at all cost/posts, dont you?
i have to stop doing this to myself, and stop reading/responding to similar "users".

Im mainly focused on just a general lack of content and abysmal pacing that is an issue with a lot of AVNs. It's the same issue I have with Summer's Gone; without adult content why on Earth would I play that VN rather than read a book or watch a movie by a professional author/screenwriter significantly less likely to commit the literary faux pas that are abundant in amateur work?

To be fair I think im just biased. Once the honeymoon phase of VNs ended for me and the veil got lifted my interest in this genre has eroded almost entirely. Me even being logged in right now is just the echoes of a dying habit.

Hi everyone! I'm here to update everyone on the current progress for chp.3!
PROGRESS / RENDER COUNT :
The simplest way to measure content is with render count, so the current render count is at about 1700.
In comparison, the beta release of chapter one had about 1400 renders and chp.2 is about 1700. Ideally, this number should increase per release due to my increased focus on this game as I am approaching a stable income from this project.

However, the planned content for chapter 3 is a lot longer than the previous 2 chapters, so we're not quite at the finish line just yet.
Initially, I wanted to split chp.3 into 2 parts because I feel like there's no way I can finish the planned content within a single chapter. But then that risks players being unsatisfied with a cliffhanger and having to wait for the next release, which I personally do not like to do.

There's still a lot of work to be done, and I will have to move the realistic release timing to be 2-3 weeks late (first week of July). I'm sorry that I couldn't work any faster, and I understand if you're disappointed about that. I will do everything I can to honor the initial release date of early / mid-June, but I think it's best to temper your expectations for now.
DISCLAIMER
Due to the dark nature of some scenes in CHP.3, I'll put a disclaimer and a choice to hide the images from those scenes in chapter 3 and the future chapters.

This a billion times. All these kind of games people adore have mediocre stories at best. Filled with goddamn plot twists and drama. Why, just why one comes to F95Zone saying "I want to read a good story don't care about porn/sex/lewd scenes"?

Because after a few blank flat AVNs, which are designed purely for fappers, you get tired/bored and want something more, like a plot and actual character development and movie-like relationships.
A.O.A, Summer's Gone, Being a DIK and a few others - AAA games in this genre because they are trying to be more than just porn games but adult games

Actually I have. The problem is right off at the start you are forced to choose path A or path B without giving the player time to be with the girls to form a opinion on which one(s) they want to be with without having to have a bunch of saves for every single path right off at the start. The path split should be much later in the game allowing the player to better chose who they want to be with. A lot of people like me wont play a game umpteen times and will only play one or two times. If the paths split later the player has a much better idea of who they like best. As for your comment I am pretty sure I responded to the devs post. I would have to go back and look but I am sure you while complaining about mine did not see that.

Not a fan of Rebecca's new hair color. I am looking forward to getting to know Aurora a little more.

Sorry but I disagree,
Part of the fun is to discover what paths there are,
and where they may branch off or converge according to the choices we make.
The point is "We don't know", Every time we make a choice , we have to decide if we have made a misstep or not.
In other words, We have been given the opportunity to be part of the story and it is up to us how the story will unfold.
It is not possible to delay choices until a later stage as this could make the game financial unviable.
i.e. most patreons (myself included) want to play the game not just read a story.
As for being forced to make a choice. That happens every day in real life, so why should this game be any different
By the end of the "Prologue" there are eight paths, and none of us knows where they may lead.
It is this voyage of discovery that is the game.
