Yeah the blackmail story is a bit forced in being a DIK but as long as there is no fucked up ending to it I'm fine with it. Being a DIK is more like an interactive soapy drama series so the romances will have different hardships to go through and won't get an easy resolution & I like that. So far I think the pacing for Being a DIK is fine but if it these obstacles just keep going it will be frustratingThat's why I stopped playing it when it comes to the Jill stuff. Too much drama, too much stretching out. Didn't like the blackmail concept and it made Jill look very weak and naïve. I never played the new update, and I never will. If I go back to the game, it'll be when it's done OR when I know the whole blackmail BS is over and they can be together. And for those who really know me know I fucking adore Jill to death.
Back to this (and again sorry for the double post) I said it in my post right before this one that the Jade BS was exactly that, BS and unnecessary. It makes her took "too easy." Yes she's a former hooker and not afraid of diving right in, but damn, not during the first fucking meeting of the MC and the rest of the girls while Rebecca is one of the shyest girls in this entire VN genre I've ever seen.
Like I said previously, the start of this game is off and I used the term bi-polar, because it is. I really do hope things level out and once this party schtick is over with, we can move on and try to spend time with the girls that we've chosen. Not just sexually, but I want to see how the MC and Ashley really do reconnect. Does he buy her a guitar? Dating? I mean I want a good story here but don't stretch it out too much like silly putty for so long like DIK is doing.
One poor storyline (like DIK's blackmail in my opinion) can really bork a game. I know the obstacles make the destination that much more special, but how long do you have to travel and how many do you have to get over before you get there?
I think the Ashley/MC thing being so quick is because of their past and the writing just seems like they want to shore up loose ends immediately and make it harder for the MC to do anything with anyone else. I don't know. Could be wrong. Probably am.Yeah the blackmail story is a bit forced in being a DIK but as long as there is no fucked up ending to it I'm fine with it. In this game I think things are progressing too fast though. For an example that the Ashley romance is a bit rushed, you meet up with her and then already declare that you have feelings for each other and now all that is left is just reconnecting more with her. At least with Jenny there are more problems and with the other girls its also just the "getting to know each other" phase
And with Jade I think the BJ was the really forced part because it happened so quickly and also in front of the other girls who acted like it was normal. For a game like this it doesn't fit, even in incest games the MC doesn't get a BJ that quickly lol. The sex scenes after that are fine but overall she is not one of my favourites
It is a good call you did not play the latest update as the blackmail issue is, indeed, not fully resolved, but it appears to be on pace to be in one or two more episodes based on how Jill's character progresses over the episode. Not to spoil much, but one of the final scenes contains some of the most passionate, romantic writing I have ever seen in one of these AVNs. Absolutely sublime. Best to wait until that damn conflict is resolved first though. That's why I stopped playing it when it comes to the Jill stuff. Too much drama, too much stretching out. I agree that, compared to the other girls, Jade comes across way too forward. But given it is early, it is still possible to ground her earlier actions into a plausible realistic personality like the other girls. The most obvious similar character arc I could see is Melissa from Acting Lessons, who jumps to physical intimacy to hide her difficulty in acknowledging her own emotions and accepting any kind of emotional intimacy. Melissa was able to be there emotionally for Megan (Jade there for Jenny), but not for herself.Back to this (and again sorry for the double post) I said it in my post right before this one that the Jade BS was exactly that, BS and unnecessary. Honestly, at this point about that game, I have so many other games with girls I care about just as much, if not more, than her, and they're my avatar, and the two sig images (even though the first sig image is of a game that will probably never be done)It is a good call you did not play the latest update as the blackmail issue is, indeed, not fully resolved, but it appears to be on pace to be in one or two more episodes based on how Jill's character progresses over the episode. Maybe if on a Jade path, MC tries to pry a little deeper, and Jade just tries harder and harder to fling herself at him, but if he resists, he can start to peel away the layers of emotional callouses her life as a teenage prostitute brought her and let her feel safe again.
When it is ready.when do you think we will get the next update
Will most likely have another probably mid-JuneHow often are updates released?
just a question.. I am having an "issue" with the Rebecca playthrough. Do I really have to avoid any and all "love/ like" choices for the other girls to have her appear in the MC's dream?
I may be mistaken but the only ladies that appear in the dream are Jenny, Ashley and Valery!just a question.. I am having an "issue" with the Rebecca playthrough. Do I really have to avoid any and all "love/ like" choices for the other girls to have her appear in the MC's dream?
Thanks man, I've redid her playthrough 15 times without saving just out of sheer frustration.View attachment 1213935
This is from the walkthrough, as you can see Rebecca isn't available in your dreams. It sucks, since I would've like to have Vicky in the dream oh well. So don't fret on it since she isn't available in the dream.
That's some Becca dedication right there. Thanks man, I've redid her playthrough 15 times without saving just out of sheer frustration.
Looks like a Cymbalta commercial. I swear, I could hear Schumann in my head.View attachment 1215245
Me patiently waiting for more Heather (receptionist), Elizabeth (teacher), Susan(dean), Helena (librarian) scenes.
