It is a good call you did not play the latest update as the blackmail issue is, indeed, not fully resolved, but it appears to be on pace to be in one or two more episodes based on how Jill's character progresses over the episode. Not to spoil much, but one of the final scenes contains some of the most passionate, romantic writing I have ever seen in one of these AVNs. Absolutely sublime. Best to wait until that damn conflict is resolved first though.
I agree that, compared to the other girls, Jade comes across way too forward. But given it is early, it is still possible to ground her earlier actions into a plausible realistic personality like the other girls. The most obvious similar character arc I could see is Melissa from Acting Lessons, who jumps to physical intimacy to hide her difficulty in acknowledging her own emotions and accepting any kind of emotional intimacy. Melissa was able to be there emotionally for Megan (Jade there for Jenny), but not for herself.
Maybe if on a Jade path, MC tries to pry a little deeper, and Jade just tries harder and harder to fling herself at him, but if he resists, he can start to peel away the layers of emotional callouses her life as a teenage prostitute brought her and let her feel safe again.
