It does have a harem tag but that doesn't mean all the girls since there are a few that lock you out of other girls.

check scrappy mod, you will see some dialogues that locks you on certain girls routes.
I checked the script too, so nope, not misinformation.

A mod isn't official though. So... it's not locking anyone out, particularly this early in the game. So again, misinformation.

The problem I am seeing is the fact that your being pulled one way or the other as far as the girls are concerned. For me i want to have Ashley and Jenn in what ever ending I get but i am seeing them being pulled apart. For a game with a harem tag that doesnt fit. I know its early in the game but take even this supposed non canon xmas it pushes your thinking that you only end up with one maybe two girls and from the looks of it prob not even Ashley or she would have been with the other girls at the xmas party. I think in all honesty the Dev should clarify if its really a harem or a multiple endings game with a single girl. I have already been down this path and others have as well where you start liking the girls then get slammed with a choice thats very hard to make in the end.

Well we can think of it this way, from what I'm seeing going the Ashley route will probably lead to just being with her and possibly her friend Sung-Ji, although Ashley doesn't seem like the type of girl who's into sharing, she's already sad/disappointed at even the mention of Jenny. This looks more like the childhood friend single romance type of story route.
Going for Jenny is showing the possibility she might be more free spirited and ok with sharing, especially if it's with one of the girls in the house, double so if it's Jade involved, so this path I can see a harem happening.
Now if you want a harem or main love with other girls other than Ashley and Jenny? I dunno the dev will make that decision I suppose in later chapters in how much we're allowed to not pursue those two and pursue the others, who knows maybe the story even turns around and Ashley and Jenny become best friends, there just isn't enough story yet.
We already get multiple options to turn down both Ashley and Jenny in spending time with them that night, so again we're not entirely locked to those two right now. While we've been given opening options to meet Val in the gym, or Jade and Rebecca in the pool, or Sung-Ji or Vicky when you go back to your room, although not enough time with Aurora. Again still very early in the story, we'll need a few more chapters to see how this plays out.
The christmas special, unless a bad ending will be included in the game later in which we just end up being friends instead of lovers with everyone, don't read into it, it's non canon. I'm sure the dev wrote it this way as to not lead anyone on to what the actual end of college outcome might be, that will obviously be up to the player when they finish the main story on who they eventually choose. I hope that’s not the case. It’s way too early to make these type of conclusions. Ashley could become friends with Vicky and Aurora and get close, we just don’t know yet. Making Ashley route the safe/vanilla route would be unfair to the players and her character.

Well exactly we really don't know where the story will go, it's too early still. I'm only speculating through the subtle info we have been offered, including the options on who we can spend time with so far. But people shouldn't panic if there's harems or not at this point yet. Like I said, it may even end up with Ashley and Jenny being really good friends and maybe both being with the MC, it's still possible, and not completely shut and close in two different routes like some think already.

Thank god Jade ditched that awful blue wig. Brunette suits her much better. Vicky wears blue much better imo. Sung-ji looking as cute as always.
