Maybe That kind of situation is required for the story to start with Ana/Kendra bar scene about Marvin discussion...but its fine. Yes, there are so many dialogues and events that doesn't get along with path. And if we ask MP, he will justify with something and people will have to get along with that reason even if they dont want to. Like he will say Ana was drunk in all those previous scene but Ana is sober in recent one and she was topless so she got pissed off. Any justification will do.
And nah its better not to take these VN as realistic lol...The thing is when someone consider and take the story as realistic, and do a deep dive into all characters or if they've gone through similar situation in their own life, they try to relate it as per their own experience....even if a normal breakup might have happen, they will see themselves as David lol. And MP will unnecessary add more boring slow events just to extend the project that would have ended in 5 years will now take 8/9 years lol because of more slower pace. The more someone dive into realism in any individual character path, the more problem MP will create for himself. I mean right now Ana ass is being groped by 5 people per day lol that's not realism at all. Who knows when her corruption will grow, she will give 4 handjobs per day lol.
MP took idea from original VN and he try to add corruption in all characters path that were there in original VN. So he will get stuck at many points where even if it doesn't make sense for a faithful/corrupt path, he will show those things to produce the desire corrupt/faithful outcome without changing the main storyline. So yea many events will be absurd that were not present in original VN and MP is creating now for this VN... original VN my guess showed confused path ending.... he's creating extra faithful and corrupt path. Wednesday and Thursday there's not much events to show beside main bar scene and meeting with grant, so whatever he write for these 2 days is pure MP creativity beside those 2 events.
Disagree on the realism part, agree on the rest.
Again, whatever semblance of realism that can be had in what is a dumb porn story is ideal, IMO. Without that it's just one of those shitty VNs where nothing makes sense and characters are moving from space to a castle to a high school and shit, lol. Those are everywhere and they suck.
A story is a story. Porn or not it should make some level of consistent sense. Is it dumb and illogical? Sure. It's a dunbass porn story. Can and should characters behave with consistency and some level of basic logic/sense? Absolutely. Without it you have absolute dogshit and then you may as well jack off to a cave drawing, lol. If some level of sense and realism doesn't matter, this is all pointless for someone like myself that isn't in it 100% to jackoff. I actually do read these things for some story...even if just a bit lol.
Jokes aside, you can't really state the problems you state and then also claim it doesn't matter. If it doesn't matter yoy shouldn't give a shit and if you don't give a shit you don't post and if you don't post...etc. To some small degree realism/logic/consistency matters in a story. Even a dunbass porn story.
I'm also not as tough on this dev as some seem to be but every dev will have those that think everything is wrong or being messed up. Sadly, they are often right. I don't think this dev is doing a bad job except maybe release times getting a bit longer and some minor inconsistencies in behavior.
