These slow-burn games do not have a good track record of surviving Act II. Some make it further than others, but I haven't experienced many that make it to Act III; and honestly I can't think of a single one off the top of my head (but I assume there are a couple). This game has been in trouble for a long time. This is what I wrote just over a year ago as part of my review:
I'm not claiming that Palmer is a scammer or anything like that, being a dev is difficult and real life is more important. That's totally fine. At the same time though, we've seen enough of these slow-burn games to know the red flags. Maybe this game continues, maybe we get another update or two, but at this point I don't think there's any reasonable chance to think that we get a complete game.
Models are bad AF looks like hobos, nowhere close to APM

every game make wife is 20 year old
this game make her look older and she look attractive normal house wife
also he one best artist i see
he make for one shot 50render just for emotion part he great art and direct
apm make for break room maybe 5 and make lot excuse about time make short update he jut lazy and business man know how make from game with less work
see how light face skin way better than other game

i remember game was one best game i see
the game success but devloper stuk with part he cant find how move on part story
so he banded game for long
when other try make same game he also stop from same point first one and also stuck not find way how to move on with good solution
then he also aband game
its like game same as movie when you move further in story they make bad end or cancel like what happen in tv game of throne or lost they have bad end when show was one best tv show ever made

The last trailer can be adjusted to any time of day. Morning, afternoon, evening. But it looks like David works late at night, he is lost in thought, he thinks about his marital problems, he escapes with his marital problems into work until late at night. From the previous trailer it looks like someone gives Anna a ride home drunk. I don't have David at home, only her mother who looks after little Sophia. This is just my theory (depending on how drunk Anna is, what if she mixes up the houses and goes to Rob's? He would definitely use it).

This game started off really well and at the end it even gave a preview of what's to come. Now that's really cool in a corruption game.

you imagine how big long update he make and all render light skin animation
and still give preview next update done look half first one long
this real artist be a legend
maybe real reason for apm slow is artist not mr palmer so when artist leave him he will be gone and that maybe reason he try give excuse his delay not tell real reason.... maybe they be fighting at end by money he make

That's a really interesting theory, it would be really good point to end the update since its supposed to be a small one with a cliffhanger and I would very much like to see it, but it won't happen because this update is about Mo Lester Marvin (1st) (and iirc) after that is PDF Grant (2nd) and after that is Refrigerator Hank (3rd) that take place in the weekend.
So that makes Masseuse Rob after that (4th?) or he can make small apperance on the (2nd) update on the morning after Anna is tried or sore after the night out and is need of a massage, perhaps? It won't be after she meets PDF Grant that's for sure. It won't be before the trip (3rd) only after, that makes it (4th).

When I played for the first time I really didn't expect it to be like this, the game surprised me. This Dev is good, I hope he has other projects in the future.. Yes, maybe that's what happens most of the time with Devs who really want to finish their games.
