I've just started out with this game. I tried reading up on it a bit in the threads to get a feel for whether or not this would be for me but, frankly, 1265 pages of comments is a bit much to attempt to digest.

That suggests to me that by playstyle, choice selection, etc., that cheating is avoidable. Did I misunderstand what I read?

Game descriptions are not truth. They are marketing. They need to sucker people like you into playing them. Because they realize that nobody wants to play a dick-dodging simulator on the way to making the big-titted blond act like Suzy homemaker or sending her on the express train to a convent.

Agreed. If I want to watch porn, I know where to find it (and that's not on a game site). I came here looking for a "game" that would challenge me to make the right choices and, if I made them, would reward me with a "good" ending.I dont know about you but im only here for the story
What I'm starting to see is that while player choices may influence how dramatic some elements of the story become, that the story has a definite centerline from which it will not depart and will not differ based upon the selected route. I find that to be a disappointing departure from the description. Score one point for the developer for fooling me, I suppose.
Some folks enjoy kinetic stories where they don't need to become invested in choices and outcomes (they simply want to be entertained); while there's nothing wrong with that kind of story if it interests you, it's really not my cup of tea.
this is a slow burn porn game, i dont think we should expect sex scene anytime soon.
