Tried to play the faithful path, because at least the main antagonist being a woman felt a bit like a "breath of fresh air" in the genre, I guess. That wore off as the story went by and, frankly, not even in the most saint path do I see a believable good ending for the couple. Even if all the truth comes out, and FMC reflects on all her mistakes, the trust that supposedly existed between one another has been so utterly trashed that their marriage doesn't really make much sense, anymore.

If the dev had a faithful/good ending in mind, the couple should've been working together on uncovering what was going on, after MC was so adamant on the fact that nothing had happened. That would've strengthened their bond, even after putting it to test like this. At this point, though, it feels like it's already way too late for that, and that trust is ruined.

Hum. I wouldn't say I meant it that way. What I wanted to say is that, at least from MC's point of view, I wouldn't want to continue in a marriage with someone who can't bear to trust me when I tell her the truth, and punishes me with harsh words and silent treatment that I don't deserve.

It doesn't matter if she's also another victim of this set up, the MC understands that. But he's adamant on being innocent, and keen on proving it to her, and that apparently doesn't mean anything to her, she throws all the responsibility of proving his innocence on him, and gives more credit to other people's word than her husband's. That'd be a major deal breaker for me, and I'd want to nope out of that relationship with this woman at that point.

The dev aims for a realistic slow burn, but nuked the whole realistic aspect with Anna's behaviour.

If you have a brainwashing session every day. Then you start believing everything someone tells you. And then you start repeating their words as if they were yours. If you have no friends, then you have no experience with them and you are nice to everyone. Then you naively think that everyone is nice and good and no one can cheat you, use you or manipulate you. If you also have false evidence of betrayal, then you are full of doubts. So don't be surprised by Anna's behavior. I must say that this is the first game where the character Anna behaves on the faithful path in this way. Which is very interesting for me, I like something new in games.

Again hidden choices that the game won't tell you about. you need to have some points with a sexual predator again to have choices. And on the faithful path I obviously don't have any because you are punished. He was supposed to fix it but apparently the creator did nothing about it. This is probably the path of corruption. I guess this is what the creator once said. Anna may be naughty but she won't cheat.

Her attitude is the problem. He is guilty till proved innocent. She attacked him insulted him she was like a child having a temper tantrum. While he trying to prove it she is not giving him any leeway. So he proves he's innocent how do you return to a happy marriage after not being trusted. In the end she didn't trust him no benefit of the doubt. Proves marriage was not strong.

Wanted to check something regarding Robinson I posted once that the DEV will give you a chance to change the non cheating path. I said that as an assumption. So I played again before the massage Anna wanted to stay faithful and save her marriage when I chose the massage she became unsure of her marriage and it was vulnerable. So the massage puts cheating back on the menu but with who? you denyed all the players on the list.

While he trying to prove it she is not giving him any leeway. So he proves he's innocent how do you return to a happy marriage after not being trusted. David has still not given any evidence that he is innocent and his jealous rages are not helping. She wants nothing more than to take David back, he is his own worst enemy, he has a chip on his shoulder. I am surprised she hasn't paid of a crew of thugs to giving him a good tapping up, I am sure Hank could organize something.
It's like a movie called Trance and the guy falls for a women and he goes into massive jealous rages like David and the women is a psychologist and she brainwashes him to forget about her existence and uses bald pussy as a trigger even though she loves him but he is to much of a psycho and the other movie is Butterfly on a Wheel and that is also kind of similar theme, the wife gets a gunmen to take over their lives and it's about teaching the husband a lesson. So common themes are covered in A Perfect Marriage and it's delivery is putting it into a top tier game.

What if it's Anna that is behind the affair to teach David a lesson because he is always being so jealous all the time and she knows who Kendra is all along and they have teamed up to drive David nuts?

That's enough even without both people involved and total strangers saying stuff has been going down to be extremely doubtful, and depending on player's choices David's behaviour either doesn't help his case or digs a deeper hole for him. The character dynamics in this game are really well thought of.

That's the thing what proof condom gone perfume clothes gone and the one major set of proof gone. Pictures alone should have been suspicious they were damning but it did not strike her as odd they didn't let her have them obviously they were copies which means they had the original they didn't need the copies. Condom in the car really I fuck a chick and I leave the condom in the car instead of throwing it out of the window and I have a woman's underwear in my gym bag that my wife washes. Believe him or not those things should have made her question it cause they made no sense.
