I mean in terms of telling the dev how to develop his game - or in the case of this guy, "I don't think you're moving fast enough, give your game to someone else to continue." To be fair, it's usually telling the dev they need to add x content or stop y content, and that's one thing, but there's nothing that gives a player (Patron or otherwise) the right to tell the dev to eff off and have someone else take over.I disagree. It’s not just his game; it’s also the game funded by all his patrons. Without them, there wouldn’t be a game at all.
So, as a developer, you have the duty to continue the project if you respect your patrons. (Just to be clear, I'm speaking in general. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. I just got five game updates today, four of which were tagged as abandoned, so... I'm a bit annoyed.)
Whatever, I just hope to keep seeing updates for this game that I really enjoy!
