Thinking of what you wrote they are rational but it may change depending on the person's personality.

It seems like Anna is more of an egocentric person. Those type of Bf/Gf that you screw in the past and suddenly wanna get back at you for it. Like they know they will leave you and not staying with you no matter what but they have to much ego to let it slide. The huge of wanting someone to go through of all the problem and suffer you did encountered because of their actions. Usually, the get back will end up being worse as the person no longer think straight. What matter it's only your downfall and your pass action may no longer seen as what they truly was but a tyranny.

That's why I think Anna is behaving like that.

If David hadn't betrayed her, Aanna would surely have found a reason to betray him, simply for the sake of betrayal. And she wouldn't have betrayed him out of revenge, but for the sake of betrayal itself, even if she derived no pleasure from it.

Anna's facial expression does not appear to be one of surprise, but rather one of concern that David will notice that she has been acting inappropriately over the past few days.
Perhaps it is a mixture of surprise and fear of being caught.

Agreed but that can also be interpreted as unexpected. To me, she looks both concerned and surprised

I'd wager it is surprise + shame. Most likely from seeing someone she fooled around or flirted with beforehand.
