Hard to say. Laura's NTR was pretty straightforward, even if HC did add a lot of stuff onto the various endings, it was still someone being dicked into falling. Aya is the same ........... but with a lot of extra added steps, and I'm not really sure if it's working. Because HC wrote Aya to be very self-aware, he is needing to write a huge amount of bloat in order to get her to fall, and it's still not really working. We can see this from how slow the pacing is despite the large word count.
The problem is that it doesn't feel like a slow burn either. I feel bad for HC because he puts a lot of care and effort into this, but I feel like half of what he has written can be cut and the story would be better for it. That is probably why there is very little discussion about this story. It is crawling despite the large word count updates. I think that by this time in Laura's route it was deep into their sex punishment game. As an eroge/NTR game this current route is uninteresting.
