I really like NTR as a genre. But not because it shits all over the male mc. I genuinely at most times couldn't be bothered with the cuck at all. Its usually the scaffolding of having a long term relationship that makes the woman being corrupted do it for me. It's a higher fall from a greater positive to blisteringly negative.

For context I've played pretty much 80% of all NTR games on dlsite (especially the untranslated ones). So I'm at least experienced in this when I say...

This game is too real for me. I do not mind if anyone wants to keep playing/supporting this game. I even think it's an excellent game. But I think I've finally found the one NTR game that fucks with my soul so deep I can't get off on it.

Harry isn't really like most comatose (Kubel) or brain dead (Oneone1) NTR mcs. He's an actual dude who's working his way up the corporate ladder and doing his best to get a great life for his lover.

Laura surprised me deeply as well. I was actually disappointed when she suddenly gave in and decided to break up with Harry all of a sudden. I know the NTR tropes are still waving their god like power over her but it just felt like bad writing. Of course it turned out she was just acting all according to keikaku and fucking murdered lucas jesus fuck!

After getting that ending a part of me felt dead inside. I immediately booted out and deleted the game. I don't really know why I wrote this. Just to vent I guess. Thanks for listening.

Again, feel free to keep enjoying it. I think its a great game. I just can't anymore for personal reasons.

But this game puts that to test. It is one thing to enjoy NTR when the story is dumb, characters are not believable and not invoke real compassion. It is another when they do.

I think it's really hard to go heavy on NTR and tell a real story, and I think this story suffers from trying to do both. It's impossible to take Laura and Harry's relationship issues seriously when she's getting hypnotized by magical NTR dick and he's imitating Stevie Wonder half the time, and it's impossible to take the game-development-business-world stuff seriously when Laura is dressing like a stripper and Luca is shouting inappropriate things in the office.

Oh i think the problem here is that he is taking things seriously. Girl succumbing to dick is one of fundamentals of NTR, i don't think it takes away from their relationship being relatable. There was a building up to why Luca can do whatever he pleases in the company and ... let me remind you of events at Blizzard if you think Luca shouting crap makes you not take the geme-develipment-business seriously.

I don't disagree with you objectively about Harry. Then again most cuck MCs have to be written in a certain way that allows the situation to even happen. Actually I don't think corruption is a key part of NTR. I enjoy corruption first and foremost, and there are many NTR games/doujins I always skip over because there's no corruption involved. Your example sounds like netorase, but I'm not sure if it is even that - it doesn't feel like those characters are more than fuck buddies. If there is any ntr there i would call it very weak.

You had those reactions not because writing is bad but because it is good. You would have disregarded the events as unbelievable and not get emotionally invested. This feels like another person "flew too close to the sun".


@ What is essential to NTR, i believe it is only one thing : for there to be relatable emotional connection between the characters that is being put at risk. Now some say it is ok for it to be one sided, others don't care there is no mention of that connection but a mare possibility of its existence makes title ntr and finally some say that not about emotional connection but the violation of personal space that marks ntr. I disagree with those but there you have it.
